Ducky Shine 3 TKL vs Max Keyboard Blackbird...
« on: Sat, 25 October 2014, 03:14:41 »
Hey guys,
I was wondering which one should I go for. I was kinda leaning towards the blackbird due to its ambient light and double shot key caps but I also heard lots of good reviews about the Ducky one.
One more thing, if I were to purchase the blackbird, where could I get one in the U.S?

Thanks all in advance.  :thumb:

Also consider the Keycool with Kailh switches.

I'd suggest the Ducky - I have heard more good about them (and have 3 myself) than I have heard about the Max.

However you can get Max here: http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/search.php?man=24
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Made a decision, or a purchase, yet?

Can attest to Ducky's build quality, though I've never actually owned or know about Max keyboards
