Green Death ****ing Flavor!

if they are all in that condition it's the best I have seen any Deck or TG3 82 posted on eBay usually they are a little beat up.

I edited the original post to add the 5th and 6th Deck 82 Toxic because I thought someone might be interested in scoring one for under $75 especially the 6th because there is only 1 day left.

we can kid. it's the Deck 82 ch_123 model. when you press the Function Key it states the obvious.

yes but there are 2 for bid. you might be able to get one for $50 or haggle with the seller.

I think there is a little more to it than that. Deck 82 Toxic is discontinued, the rollover is above average for a SFF Mechanical Keyboard and the build quality is excellent.

I didn't think it would go that high.

TG3 BL82 (OEM Deck 82) boards are more common than Deck boards on eBay and they sell for cheaper, too ($30 UsD two occasions for me). TG3 is Identical build quality, plus a removable blood spatter guard for use in your emergency vehicle. Theres a TG3 BLT82 with integrated trackpad on eBay now from the same seller I got mine.

A-hah, I was wondering why they looked familiar.  They're now stylized for home enthusiasts under the DECK name.  Their regular keyboards are very expensive.  This is a really good keyboard company.  I would like to buy the industrial version but used the "blood splatter" membrane makes me just a little bit queasy.

Someone PMd me earlier this year about gaming on a TG3, but I had no PS/2 machine available then. Did PS/2 testing last night.

  • TG3 has 2KRO, but TG3 2KRO is remarkably LESS intrusive in gaming than the 2KRO on my ricercar MX SPOS. To wit: I don't game on my SPOS, and I was surprised that the TG3 was only 2.
  • TG3 has no detectable ghosting.

I'm really surprised Deck has 4KRO if the TG3 has 2. Implies there are different controllers for popo and gaming boards.

please do.

looks like I was wrong.

there is a thread on the Deck forums someone complaining about the Deck 82 Fire not registering A + W + F so you might want to try that combo.

Quote
The n-key issue is a known problem for the Fire 82 model. This happened because we produced a large number of them at first before we discovered the issue. Currently the Fire 82 has been discontinued but all existing products will exhibit this issue.

It should also be mentioned that none of the products on our site at present time will have this issue any longer.

Quote
Ice and Toxic are not affected by this issue, both will have full NKRO (6 keys).

Correct. Example:

only w and e register

Other combos are similar.

Your TG3 82 really does have no rubber feet! Mine came with 3 (fourth corner missing); I assumed they were stock.

all the TG3 I have seen don't have rubber feet. your saying they do? I always thought that was odd. by the way what is the bottom made out of on the TG3 82? doesn't look polycarbonate like the casing.

My TG3 are secondhand, so the rubber feet they came with are of uncertain origin. The two keyboards did not have similar feet, so they're unlikely from the factory.

The TG3 bottom plate is anodized & brushed aluminum. It's classy. My trackpad model has four beefy threaded holes, presumably for a vehicle mount, but that might be a Data911 option, not standard for all TG3 BLT models.
