Enermax Aurora key problem
« on: Thu, 09 June 2011, 06:44:06 »
Hello, i have a problem with the left Shift key on my keyboard. The left side of the key is lower than it should be. I'll attach a picture. Except that, the key works fine. I would like to know if there is a possibility to take it out and fix it - i found some info about scissor switches but nothing specific about how to remove one from Enermax.

If more detailed images are needed i can take some with my camera.

Thx for the idea, found some links and fixed it. :)
If anyone has the same problem: You have to pull from the top side of the key and it easily pops out. On the key itself there is a thick metal wire shaped like a wide U. The wire must be connected in two hinges near the swich on the keyboard to ensure a "linear travel". The left hinge was out in my case. Maybe i didn't explain it very well but after you remove the key it's pretty simple to figure it out. This is for the shift key - on smallers key i saw that the switch is in a different position and probably the removal method is different.
