I've already seen the pictures but I just noticed the Pro seems to have a 2 piece top cover.

Nice pics.

What are those grooves on the third/fourth pic (most noticeably) to the back of the keyboard? Is it purely cosmetic or does it serve some purpose?

The reversed case is an eye sore...

Grooves are probably aesthetic purposes...

If I were to guess, I am going to say the same OEM as Razer. Seems to have the same white stabilizer mounting, and you can't see the stabilizer on the bottom edge.

If it's the same as the Razer boards it's iOne.  They also do the Xarmor boards.  I'm sure probably many more, but I had trouble getting info together for a definitive wiki.

Anyways, it would be a step down from Costar (makers of the QF Rapid) for sure.

No don't say that, they subsidize my free Logitech mouse RMAs when they go wrong (free shipping from Switzerland as well)!

I'm confused, does this mean you can switch between 6KRO and NKRO?

wow... so glad I've got my CM TKL red's... Can certainly tell some other company made it beside Costar.

It's certainly "Pro" alright.... would fit perfectly standing on a street corner!

Grooves are probably inspire from gun rails. Pretty stupid if you asked me.

But then again, this is the current population:

+1

The grooves being so wide and spaced out just make the board look more cheap than it already looks... I think they would've been wiser to go with what ther already have with their TKL model but just extended for the full deck version.  This just looks nasty and cheap.

The 1.5, 1, 1.5, spacebar, 1.5, 1, 1, 1.5 modifiers spacing, white(not clear colored) LED, Back-lit keycaps and such aesthetics can't fail to convince me that it come from iOne...

In other words, just another Razer BWU?

Correct me(with any proof) if I am wrong.

Wow I'm a big fan of the TKL quickfires. But this thing looks like a step backwards. UGLY!

I am pretty sure Carter reads the forum. Not sure how much he can do about it though. Battlesheep has been MIA for awhile. May be send some email to support or something.

I don't have "proof", especially with that weight of circumstantial evidence, but there's still a chance it's costar. I'll withhold judgment until the internal pictures are in.

That said, why'd they have to go and ruin it? 1x function/win keys? Stupid enter key? tiny rightshift? it's all a step backward from the QF rapid.

Ruin is subjective. That is the traditional Taiwanese keyboard layout. Though they been slowly transitioning to the ANSI layout.

I dislike that enter key, and if this really turns out to be worse than the QuickFire Rapid then I'll be disappointed.  I'll keep an eye on this one, and decide between it and a Unicomp when the time comes.

May I know why you think the quickfire rapid is "not good" as per your statement...?

I am curious because aside from the overbranding - which doesn't really look so bad since they chose a good color combination - i find the quickfire rapid satisfying.

Did you quote the wrong person?  I'm confused.  I think the QuickFire Rapid is excellent.  The speculation on the QuickFire Pro makes me a bit curious as to whether or not it will live up to the QF Rapid's excellence.

They way you wrote it could be interpreted both ways. When you said worse then the qf rapid it kind of sounded like you meant the qf was already bad enough. BUt I read it the other way. Like why make it weaker when the qf is good. Or something to that affect lol.

I misinterpreted your initial post... as you said "if this really turns out worse than the Quickfire Rapid" --- i though you were implying that the quickfire rapid is bad... and that the quickfire pro has potential to be worse... bad < worse < worst.

I see what you did there!  Well now that we got that cleared up... I wonder how long it will take CM to get the QuickFire Pro to the US and Europe.  As far as I know Europe still doesn't have the QuickFire Rapid.  Also has anyone identified the font on the QuickFires?
