Variable is actually really good you barely notice most of the time, which as someone said in another thread, is the point..

The only time i really notice.. is when i accidentally rest my fingers on the really light keys. which results a few cases of:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

easy enough to delete but yeah.

Thought that at 1st as well when I got mine... It's not too noticable. Beautiful to type on! Love it. I've gamed with it as well and its not too bad!

I'd prefer the non variable, not sure which weight though. Just for the sake of gaming. That being said, when you're really into it. I don't think you notice how hard you're typing on each key..

Not that it matters, I got the 104UB, for work. Hopefully if I'm not too pleased with fullsize I can trade for a 87U.

Yeah but unfortunately PCCG's said that they won't expand their range due to the "niche" nature of Topres... Still, props to them for even stocking them in Australia let alone price them so well!

Was considering getting the full size way back during their 1st sale... went for the 87 instead 'cause it does intergrate a numpad onto the board via the Numlock function... plus, I love a TenKeyLess board. Can't seem to get my mind round a full deck again... so much wasted space! lol

Yeah it's a pretty nice feature that they included. You should email them... you never know, they may allow you to change your order!

Wish they would consider stocking HHKB's... I asked them that a little while back and they flat out said no with the same reason they gave you.

Really?! He got banned from another keyboard forum before GH. Yes he was a big part of GH but DAAAAANG he could be a pain at times. All he would do was point to his wiki and add a prophetic and obscure comment without even attempting to answer someone's question. Still, gonna be a lot quieter with him I'll admit. In terms of Mech's in Australia... we got it bloody good!

Its k, they shipped it out like an hour or so after I ordered. So too late to change it. It'll be right. If I really care too much, someone might want to trade.
