Default "Moon" Movie - Good Movie but The Future of Keyboards is bleak

Saw Moon last night (highly recommended). PS3 doesn't allow my to take screenshots and BlueRay is taking forever to get to computers so here's the closest pic I can find.

The main console though is a white backlit rubber dome with standard 104 key layout. Most interaction is voice recognition with the Hal like robot (Kevin Spacey at his robotic best).

Future looks bleak.

On the plus side, the market for barber chairs will boom.

That set seems remarkably similar to Alien. Or even the Doom game.

At least the keys still have some feedback on the moon!

I imagine with all the dust on the moon that you'd want to have rubber domes, since there are less parts to get gunked-up. I know that air filtration is going to be very important for moon living, but I'm sure though that moon labs will still be filthy places.

I've been watching too many space programs on NatGeoHD.

If the dust is getting in, I dread to think how much air is leaking out!

Movie also has a awesome looking industrial laptop.

All these were props custom made for the movie I assume.

Highly recommended movie to rent.

Meh. I didn't really like it. I saw Perfume for the first time this last week, same themes but much better IMO.

No keyboards on the moon. Even the doors will be voice controlled...

With my luck my computer would turn on me within SECONDS upon arriving at the moon.

Me: Open the pod bay doors, Hal.

Hal: I'm afraid I can't do that, Dave.

Me: Dave? Who's Dave? Why are you calling me Dave?!?

It would go on like that until Hal decided to shut my air off.

that backlit keyboard is simply a roll up keyboard on a light table.

Wow, they didn't even do a good job of that, either. They just pulled it out of the box and right onto the light table. They didn't try to hide the controller or anything.

Hahahahahaha!!!! Good catch. They did shoot the movie for cheap.

I was gonna buy one of those rollups just to take apart the controller since it would be a good form factor to use for mods.

IIRC there was another cheap backlit lowprofile keyboard similar to the BTC 6300.
