Got My First Mechanical KB

Hi, yet another newbies here

I've finally bought myself first mechanical keyboard :first:, a Rosewill RK-9000BR (brown switch) I've done most of my research here at geekhack before I decided to jump in. So, many thanks for all helpful members here

A little question here, is there any way to handle the  squeaky key problem? Well it not always make the squeak but still sometimes it get kind of annoying (the backspace key)

enjoy the board!

When I jumped back into mechanical that Rosewill Brown as my first as well.

Turns out I don't like the Brown switches, but hope your enjoying them!

you will have to lube the squeaking keys with some white lithium grease or similar.

read this:

I solved my issue with squeaking by adding o-rings, is also quiets down the keyboard. It may not work for you though, so grease it prob a better solution.

Nice board!  The red mounting plate looks great!  It's very similar to the CM reds except for the Tenkeyless/fulldeck difference.  Saying that... since it's a Costar OEM, the two boards probably came from the same place!

I firmly maintain that cm quickfire is the same as filco, except for the position of status lights.

Has anyone taken it apart,, the quickfire??

Great lil'boards, the CM's.  I do think that the stock keycaps on the Filco's are better though.

Thanks for the welcomes

I'll buy a keycap puller and some grease first then. Hopefully it will fix the squeak.

Another thing : does anyone know if the new RK-9000 have the same Filco controler PCB like the old RK-9000?
