The 'i' and 'p' identifiers (1080p) refer to interlaced vs progressive scanning, which affects how the moving images of a video are perceived by our eyes.  It means nothing when used to describe an image.  That's all I was referring to (the fact that an image cannot technically be either 'i' or 'p').  :P
