So the group buy for the Golbat 40% keyboard will be just for the PCB and case only? Then we have to source the other components elsewhere?
I'm a total newbie at this whole thing and looking to have the Golbat 40% as my first project. (I don't even know how to solder!).
Will there be instructions provided on how to assemble and program this keyboard?
I'll try and figure out the programming so I can help people if they have problems.
But otherwise shipping of components in Canada is really high so the added cost to add in the components would be a bit silly for some people. I don't have a stockpile of switches or LEDs either so if I were to distribute components I'd have to order everything to what people want.
There are lots of guides for building your own keyboard!
PCB is generally one of the best things to get instead of handwiring xD
