Wanting some feedback on my project

Spectre72:
Hi, I suppose to preface this I'm very new to the world of keyboards, pretty much only got into them  (Actually I still haven't even bought a proper enthusiast board yet)

I'm currently in the process of designing a simple but hopefully good looking keyboard,
Keybard Layout is F12 TKL
Typing angle is 7.5 degrees with a front height of 18.5mm
Plate is Tadpole mount, planning on it to be PP, no flex cuts [Mostly cause I don't quite know how to do that properly yet]
Top and bottom are held together with magnets, as well as the weight currently though I might change that to being screw in
Haven't decided on if I should do silicone dots as feet or full length bars

it's not designed to take a daughter board however that may change, I'm fairly happy with the USB-C placement but I don't know if daughterboard + center USB placement would be better

I'd love to get some input from some other people on things I could try, add or adjust.

Update : Board model is fairly close to completion due to help from some more experienced individuals

Major changes :
Weight is now affixed with screws
There are now 2 designs, one that takes Hiney PCBs and one that will take the Geon Daughterboard
Certain Geometries are now simplified for ease of manufacturability

If anyone has any feedback, comments or concerns, do let me know. so far people have been very helpful in my learning process

Rob27shred:
Looks good OP! Nice & simple TKL, I can definitely get behind that!

Went through 2 more redesigns as I wasn't entirely happy with how it looked, Figured if I'm gonna spend 350-400 bucks or so on a custom potentially one off board might as well make it something I love.
Weight is still plain without any engraving, still not sure if I want one or how one should look so for now it's blank.

Looks good and not be a downer...

Are you making this yourself at work or having a friend do it?
I ask because your expectation of $350-400 is extremely low. If you're in the US and paying a shop this is probably closer to 3x that (or more), and you probably will not get it right the first, or possibly even the second time. And then you still need finish. The reason group buys get this price is because they already went through prototyping (you hope) and they're ordering in bulk, one-offs always cost a whole lot more.
