Title: Find some click button for mouse buttons on a custom keyboard
Post by: 4sStylZ on Sun, 05 November 2017, 15:50:46
Hi people,

I work on my first custom keyboard.
This is not the keyboard of my dream but I want to see if I can build the hardware alone and step by step make my final keyboard.

This is a Acer 6312 (acer switch on membrane) converted to cherry MX blue, some Razer keycaps, a salvaged IBM trackpoint and all drived by QMK on a Teensy 2++.

Actually I want to make some mouse button for the trackpoint under the space bar.

I have the three membrane switch from the original keyboard but can’t figure how too adapte the membrane.

I am searching for switchs and keycaps but for mouse button like on a thinkpad keyboard or a method for adapte theses membrane switch from IBM…

Any idea ?

Did you looked into arcade buttons?
Like Seimitsu ps-14 or sanwa obfs?

sure, they are rounded..

Im still researching were I can get some cheap - imho 3$+ per button is a bit expensive..

even Mx or zeals are cheaper..
