How many of you guys interested in these sets of 37 metal key caps?

These are made by zinc.

There are two different colors: GOLD and SILVER.

Price will be about $80 for each set of 37 keys.

I don't know, those keys look like they might be unusually quick to shine.

That said, I may be interested in those silver ones. Those are simply snazzy.

I'm definitely interested in a set. Can you give more details about what options are available?

Blank/legends? How are the legends done: etched, laser, pad printed?
Is an Esc key of our choosing included? What about the Super and Meta keys?

Some of the ESC keys will be available, but for now, there's no metal spacebar. Maybe the vendor will make some in the future.

ABS has a density of about 1 g*cm^-3
Zinc has a density of 7.15 g*cm^-3

Also Zinc for under $2.50/key? That's great!

It is Zinc Alloy. Nobody can confirm about the exact density for the keycaps.

Well, unless it's zinc-aluminium or zinc-magnesium, it should still be easily over 5 g*cm^-3 Really, the only other common alloying metals that have densities under 6.5 g*cm^-3 are titanium, vanadium, and beryllium, and I doubt those have been used here due to their expense.

Point is: should be heavy.

Me, I'm going to wait until sets come in, and people review them (look at the "W" in the gold picture) or until I can confirm Dvorak.

Edit: it's probably straight-zinc that's been electroplated, according to the post. I like electroplating.
