I just took the rubberdome-layer out of an old and cheap keyboard,

cutting out the rubberdomes, and making a hole in it

just to see that it's still too thick when it sits inside a keycap

Now it's very silent and the keytravel is reduced alot too(i like that, because i primarily using it for gaming)
