Can't wait for December!  Are the colors final, what tone of white is this (sorry if I missed it), WS1 or WS2?

L9 BV
Pardon my ignorance on the color codes, but will they be closer to the white in the gray scale pictures or with the somewhat yellowish hue from the renders?

I told that you shouldn't mind about the tones of the grayscale pics since the samples are featuring Serika (injected) colors.
Keycaps will feature L9 and BV colors :thumb:

Aware, I just didn't know what those color codes referred to; that's what I was asking about specifically but after some digging I found some color charts that answered it. Turns out L9 is the yellowish tinted color & I'm pretty bummed out. But it seems like you're set & you can't accommodate everyone. Just give me a mention if you do another IC in WS1/2, because they'd be perfect. GLWS.

I’m definitely considering more neutral color scheme for a next run :)

Original 2048 was cherry profile, but maybe accents for R2?

Definitely :thumb:
Would love to see Katanaka mono alphas in R2 as well, alphas with double legends looks kinda noisy.
And please don't change the colors, L9 is so perfect on those.

In for two sets. Nice.
Model M Industrial, SSK, Unicomp 104, Code TKL MX Green, FC660M MX Green + Clear + White + Grey, FC660C Topre 45g, MagicForce 68 USB and Bluetooth, Whitefox, some optical switch 65% Bluetooth split spacebar thing ... wait, I think I need an intervention. Too late, there’s a couple of new Model Fs on the way.
Too much SA is never enough.

Anyway to get a second tab added to the mods kit? That way you could build out a hhkb and ansi board with one mod kit and two alphas.

Extended 2048 color scheme is based on L9/BV (from GMK color ring) colors.

Without getting into politics, they officially announced they miscommunicated the materials used in Holy Panda switch housings which were advertised to be POM. They also used the designer BOB’s likeness on a novelty keycap without his permission.

I’m definitely considering more neutral color scheme for a next run :)

Any chance, albeit small, that we get the neutral color scheme or plain white this run as well?  ;D
I'll be the first to admit that I don't know a lot about running Keycap GB's, but if all other aspect (font style, size, legends, etc) remain, shouldn't the color be an easy addition?
Thank you!

It would be easy to design, but for production, you'd be producing an entirely different product. You have to change the plastic resin to produce the keys in a different color, and then run them through the same dyesub process as well. It's far from an easy addition.

I’ll offer my two cents on the color discussion: there a bunch of bright white or neutral white sets available right now, and the un-bleached, “natural” tone of this set is one of the distinctive features that makes the set interesting to me. It also feels more authentic to the AEKII aesthetic the set is going for.

I do actually have some feedback. Since this is a Mac inspired kit, why is there no option for the function row to come with the Mac shortcuts attached to them, like volume, brightness, etc.? Would be really nice.

This is not what I was talking about. These do not show the function numbers as well.

An example of the types of keys I’m talking about are on the Keychron K4.

Hi!
This is gorgeous, I'm so fan.

One question though, I'm not sure I can properly identify those keys in your kits:
- Pn
- Insert
- Suppr
- Print screen
- Scroll lock
- Pause

I own a Vortex Tab90M (ISO), and all these keys are on R0, above the backspace and the numpad. I guess Pause key should be the coffee mug of ICONO kit, but I would love having your insight about the other keys.
The rest is covered by ALPHAS + MODIFIERS + ACCENT MODIFIERS (lovely) + NUMPAD + ISO INTL + ICONO (Fn on R5, Coffee Pause, and fun).

Thanks

Yeah, thanks a lot. So finally I have it all sorted.
The 1 fn is available only in Nomad and Accent Nomad but I could use the 1 fn2 from Modifier/Accent Modifier. It's a no brainer.
The pn does not exist in R0, only R5 in Nomad, I'll have to fish something in Icono maybe. Got a "Cal" key in the upper-right corner, R0 then, pretty useless, could stuff one key from Icono too.
Everything else is covered.

In the mean time I could see if I can re-program the Vortex Tab90M so that: cal becomes pn, pn becomes fn, fn becomes command (apple key), as I mostly use this keyboard on a Mac.
