I agree that there shouldn't be a blue background if we're going to go with white. I like the yellow stars. I think I would be okay with either yellow or blue though, because NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN.

There would be a one-time sublimation artwork/paper/setup fee of $80 (2 different artworks @ $40 each - the 2x key is the same and can be printed on either version). As always, pricing does not include freight charges. All sales sold or shipped to a Washington State address will be subject to sales tax.

That looks expensive but I'm expecting around 100 backspace and probably >250 1x keys. Note the bottom part where she mentions the $80 fee, I'm going to be factoring that into the costs this time because last time with the portal group buy I had to cover it myself. But expect the prices to be relatively close to those, and structured very similar to my previous group buys.

Should be around $20 for a full row of nyan, so about the same as the Portal keyset. I'll be starting an order thread shortly. Going to go with blue stars on white (WFJ same as Portal) keycaps.

I'm clarifying that with her now. My gut thinks the fee should be $120 but she could be waiving it because the other two are so similar.

I'm pretty sure you're looking at a picture of their ABS keycap colors, she sent me her two whitest PBT keys and WFJ was fantastically pure bright clean white. Its what you want, trust me.

Is it just the picture or is the bottom color of the rainbow not really violet but rather a darker blue? And will the pixelation for the black outline of the cat be that clunky? The original is thinner, and I know they're capable of doing thinner lines. Just wondering. I do understand these are prototypes. But clearly you have immense interest in this group buy and when I get interested in something I'm a stickler for accuracy.

Hmm, nobody has mentioned that yet, I'll take a good look at the colors when I get the keycaps in person tomorrow, but as for the line I suppose that we could rework the SVG if everyone agrees that they want the line thinner. Tbh I think it looks fine as it is, and somewhat adds to the pixelized theme.

Yeah, I made the artwork and took ages to make the blocky lines so that it looks near identical to the original. The problem with "thinning the lines" is that I can no longer make it properly "pixelated"/8bit or would need quite some time to find a way around it. I think the printing process made the lines thicker/thinner at parts. But I think they look alright. If enough people think it's a problem I'll redo it tho.

I gotta ask, why is the light blue part on the rainbow noticeably thinner on the downwards wave?

Its not the image we sent in, it must be how its made. If you look at some of the black outlines of nyancat. Some are larger and some are smaller. Also those pink/purple specs on the poptart. I guess thats just how the process turns out.

It's going to be a immense amount of work regardless because I still have to sort each set of keys and double check everything anyways... I have my gf to help me out guys, and all weekend to worry about it, it'll be fine. That's why I charged the extra dollar lol.
