Voted for all the cherry switches and buckling springs (the only switches I've used).  You should elaborate what "balance" means.
Mkawa Beta SSK | IBM SSK | IBM Model AT F | IBM F 122 | IBM Unsaver | LZ-GH (62g ergo clears) | HHKB Pro2 Type-S | HHKB Pro2 | Realforce 87U-Silent (55g uniform) | Leopold FC660C | Omnikey 101 (blue alps) | Kingsaver (blue alps) | Zenith ZKB2 (green alps)

I notice that IBM currently ranks highest for typing.

I'm really enjoying the website! Also TN -> VA (where I live) is a short distance :)

Yeah, it's a always a battle between simple design and sufficient information.  The title header kind of explains it and if you hover your mouse over the balance icon it helps as well.  Thanks for the feedback - this is a common one so far.

Yeah, I need to see about picking one up as it's really sparking my interest.  I'm more of a new-schooler and haven't typed on a Model M in the last 20 years.

Come by and see us! :)

I only own a bicycle: no car or I would, and bring my Unicomp with me.

Have you tried contacting unicomp about distributing their keyboards for them?

Good to see some Topre ratings starting to trickle in.

I was looking at their site yesterday.  Will probably be contacting them soon.
