Filco... I wish it was PLUM :(...

Filco is fantastic if you want a Cherry MX keyboard.  Because I'm so disenchanted with detachable cables and the problems they sometimes bring I'd put Filco above it's competitors.  I also like the simplicity of it and having them not risk BIOS incompatibilities for a few extra keyroll that nobody will need anyway (ie: Who needs stock NKRO when you only have 10 fingers and five of them are on the mouse!?)

That being said, these days I'm leaning towards much more silent keyboards.  If the Filco had the new silent Red / Black switches maybe I'd bite - but that's probably not going to happen.

I've had both the Royal Kludge RC930 45g/55g as well as Topre 30g/45g/55g and I like the 30g better.  Problem is RF won't make a 87u ANSI w/ 30g weighting.  Maybe I'm being hard on them and don't understand the issues with manufacturing logistics but if they pushed out a hundred boards as a special limited edition I can see them going in no time at all.

So that's where PLUM comes in.  35g in a 75% layout, presilenced with stabilizers prelubed from the factory.  Is it what I truly want? NO.  I'd prefer a Topre 87u silenced 30g ... but let's be realistic - that's never going to happen.  The PLUM is as close as I'm going to get.

I just noticed that the black POK3R with PBT caps and MX blues is out of stock. Do you know if/when it'll be re-stocked?

What's to consider  :p.  If you stock them people will for sure buy them as long as the price is reasonable.

All of the gold plated stabilizers that I've tried from Sprit have been excellent.

Hoping to get an universal plate for the Filco with the cutout for the controller.

When you say universal, are you meaning one which supports multiple layouts or switch types?

I'm really hoping y'all might be able to get in stock some of the purple Tex Aluminum cases in either TKL or 60% sizes. I suspect with the GMK Skeletor GB that's finishing up within the next few months there will be more than a few folks looking for purple cases.

Any chance you'll carry the Filco FKB22MB? Alternately, your site still has the disclaimer about the Leopold FC210TP's not outputting correct numpad codes, is this still the case?

I bought one of the new batches of Leopold FC210TP's from them and it does output true numpad codes but it's been extraordinarily difficult to produce altcodes with.

Thanks for the heads up. Out of curiosity, what packaging did yours come in? Blue writing or gold?

Gold I think but it's been several months and I'm not in the habit of keeping boxes. I think another indicator was that the LED is red on the updated firmware versions and blue on the older versions. Don't hold me to that but it's something that'd been circulating.

Hope you will also sell separately any full dye-sub key-sets here because we need something more classic for these series of keyboards.

Would you have a link to said keyboard?

I'm afraid I don't. I actually did a quick check and it's actually something that was made in 2013 and it out of production (oops!)

To ask another question, how about the new vortex 40% keyboard that's planning to be out around October/November time?

Any idea if/when there will be a restock of the 60% aluminum Tex cases (specifically green)?

This is a lovely thread, is sourcing a KMAC Happy a possibility in HHKB layout? Even a KMAC Mini...?
