You will be able to completely remove the spacebar and middle mounting points. This is to ensure compability with hotswap PCBs, and for those that prefer a more flexible typing experience. The inserts will be made in brass or titanium, depending on results from factory testing.

What is this case?
It is a tray mount case for 60 percent mechanical keyboards that follow the standarized Poker mounting. It has a weight of 2kg, or approx. 4.4 lbs.
Why $300 for a tray mount case?
This cost as much, or more to produce than most other 60% cases, tray mount or top mount. The beveled edges takes time to get right, the weight design is complex and the amount of material in this case is quite unique.

So its not actually clear? Clear ano would show off all the imperfections and markings from the manu process instead of covering them like a silver ano would.
It's probably going to make quite a difference between it actually being clear or actually being silver.

Clear is silver. Silver is clear.
Cases are sandblasted and cleaned before anodizing, and that's when tool marks are removed.

Some people have asked me if the R2, and later weight(top) is less difficult to manufacture than the R1 weight(bottom), and if it was done as a cost measure.

Not only is it really kind of similar, it has more material and more difficult machining.
Answer is, it is not cheaper to manufacture, it was done because I think it looks better and opens for more details on the weight.

Really cool idea to have the removable standoffs. Good for hotswap but also good for people who want to experiment with other materials. I have some anti-vibration standoffs (they sell them in a few form factors (m2 and m3) for drones) that I would like to try out in the case. They have brass m2 holes but the standoffs are a medium density rubber. Might make for a nice typing experience. Would be cool if they were all removable, but I can see that is probably impracticalKeep in mind that this only apply to the middle and bottom stand off

As far as I know, the DZ60 is the only 60% PCB that supports this layout. I've never seen another 60% PCB that supports the standard 4x1U arrow cluster but then again, my research is relatively limited.

I've just seen the 1st color sample for the Ultramarine Fjell, and I'm a bit concerned. I understand the color is not the final one, but the sample looks like far away from Pantone 3035C, which was supposed to be the target.
Will half a shade darker enough to bring more green in the next sample ?

Hey Leandren !It'll be as similar to Pantone 3035C as anodizing allows.

Same factories, different finish. Most people have told me it has improved, but I do understand if it's not for everyone. Thank you for your feedback!

Just received mine today and noticed the same thing on my R1 grey Fjell. A handful of cosmetic defects on the interior. Exterior seems to be mostly good. Just to compare, where are your Fjell's marks located?

I didn't order a PCB and I haven't gotten mine or a shipping notification, so not all without PCB were shipped. Either way, stoked for when it arrives. Got my Zeal 60, holy pandas and modern dolch ready to go!
