Sucks that you might not be able to make it out of aluminium. But I'm still pretty interested in getting one out of acrylic or wood. Not sure how the wood would fare over time though

and, now i'm looking for good wood.

ebony is I really want to.
and, hard too find wide and thick sized wood.

sample will be
rosewood and bogote(I don't know this wood's name in english please refer below picture)

wallnut is very good wood to manufacturing. strong to bending and crack.
but, It's too common. I don't like common one.
I don't know now, but it's possible species of wood will be optional. that's what i want to.

most important thing is final sample.
if i satisfied with sample.
this GB will be start without hesitate.
but if not...
I don't know...

I bought this woods for sampling.
now drying in my home.
rosewood and bocote

and microwave drying will be conducted(is this right word?

) for GB.

most of worker who work for microwave drying don't want to do with small quantity, but i finally found a good worker.
expansive for small quantity, but it's ok!

I really want to make perfect wood housing, and I think it's move to final level.
anyway, please wait for some more time.

but, I think bocote is not so good for housing. it's strong, heavy and beautiful. but it has so many knots and easy too crack.

No this is for a HHKB-layout custom board, but... I would kill to get my HHKB into an aluminum case.

i know it's expansive. i'm so sorry about this.
250$ is expansive.
but someone knows how I effort to make this price.
problem is cost.

and It's not a HHKB based keyboard.
this is cherryMX based keyboard. only layout is similar.(actually, HHKB uses 6x spacebar, but it's so rare in cherryMX. so I choose 7X spacebar layout)
I really want to make HHKB custom. but It's structure is too complicate to make without source.

but, this is the most similar structure with HHKB in cherryMX keyboard.
only this one is top and plate all in one design. like HHKB.
