Maybe consider doing an accent kit with darker and lighter accents like a lighter red, black, grey, etc? Love the set btw

This is my fourth comment on the set, I love it so much. I would love to see Rama x with white bg and maroon X, also some sulvan artisans with white bg and maroon spaltter. Uufff the set is a beaut.

I don't want to get into a colour war here, but RAL 4004 isn't maroon — it's distinctly purple-y which makes it more of a burgundy.
this evokes more of a burgundy than gmk burgundy for me, which is a good thing imo bc it's my favorite color :thumb:

You got it right at the end there! The tab is for ortho, as well as the many other keys in the base kit meant to provide the maximum physical support possible at a reasonable price

I usually like mono colors on keysets, but I feel like this particular one would benefit a lot from an accent mod kit.I'm considering an alt alpha kit, but no accent mod kit. Due to the lack of success for NorDE kits adding one isn't really worth it. The icon mods are a stylistic choice for having a simpler set. Thanks!
Many people are also turned off by icon only mods, perhaps conisder accent mods with icon + text?

There's nothing wrong with only running two kits, less things you have to worry about hitting MOQ! I think the current kits you have are fantastic and cover everyone with the same look. If you really wanted to you could look into running a inverted alphas kit that would give off the look of something like VoC or Classic Blue/Classic Red. I was planning on picking this one up and running it side by side with Rudy Dark Horse!

Really beautiful set, I am buying it if it comes to GB.
I've only been buying keeps for the last year or so, are there any other case options that look similar to the Iron165 Plum that would match well with this set? RAMA U80 in Port comes close but it doesn't seem as deep as the Plum. Otherwise, the dark gray in OP's signature is a beautiful look as well.
I think that stopping GMK Bordeaux from using the more popular alphas colour because of similarity is (a) unnecessary, (b) selfish, and (c) it hurts the community.
For a community that cares so much about similarity with colours and renders not matching the actual product, why is there not room for two different colours with different accent colours and novelties? They appeal to different audiences.
Just run them at different times and forget about the similarity. I am writing this here because the runner of this set is the person responsible for this, and I am very disappointed that you would do this. Your set is beautiful in its own right, there's no need to harm someone else's set.

It is a huge base kit to be sure! It has very generous amount of compatibility for a base kit. Totally understand on the pricing decisions you are making for your set. Just expressing my interest incase there was a chance it was possible.
All in all a very nice looking set, well done.

So the set will have icon mods? Or will icon+text mods be an option. I see mostly icon mods in the renders. But one render has icon+text on the enter key so thought I should get clarification.
The Alt Alphas kit is missing R1 \| key which renders the kit useless for everyone that uses split backspace. Has this been addressed ?Also missing scooped F and J, an Extra B for alice compat in alt alphas. Missing white minibars from the spacebar kit too. Personally not a fan at all of using mod coloured bars for a two tone set so people buying the alt alphas cannot use it on an alice board.

I think there’s a lot of people also don’t like to use mod coloured spacebar for Alice. Without white spacekeys (2.25, 2.75 and 3) in spacebar kit is a bit of a let down. I would add 6u white spacebar to the spacebar kit too. I think it’s a bit redundant to have white 6.25u and 7u spacebar in the spacebar kit. I personally doesn’t use accented spacebar cause spacebar is consider as alpha.
