I'm also waiting for updates before I jump in! Still can't decide on what color to choose for both the case and the plate. Zeal said that he will post pictures before CNY, so should be anytime now?

I'm curious about the silver colored case - in the renders on the product page, the initial one for the half plate looks like a light silver, whereas in the jamon renders, it appears to be darker and a bit more towards the light grey spectrum. Which is more accurate?

I wouldn't use Jamon renders as a base of reference. Zambumon has a lot of renders of boards in colors that aren't available. He tends to bias toward the keycap colorway.

Makes sense - yeah just thought it was odd to show both renders on the GB page since they represent the silver differently.

In case anyone missed it, terminal, 9009, Olivia and hyperfuse origins renders were added to the group buy page. Shout-out to janglad for those. A couple renders of Oblivion were also added courtesy of oblotzky and jamon from zambumon as well.

New sample cases have been finished but there is a delay in the pvd for the weights and plates. I will let zeal comment on the status of those when he gets a chance.

Thanks for the heads up re the new renders. They all look fab, my fave is the black with olivia.

Thanks for the answer. How will that affect us changing our orders, if the need should arise? I really would like an deep “eggplant” purple board or even a medium purple board, but I really do not want a blue board.

I will reject the boards if they come out blueish. The purple zephyrs are already being redone.

I was mostly interested in seeing more of the shape of the board, not any specific color. Renders are nice, but don't feel alive, unfortunately.
That purple board pic looks like it was carefully set up. I just wish there were more.

I usually do for customs, but Wilba has a pretty good reputation for high quality PCBs. Personally I have skipped the extra PCB on this one because of that, and I do not plan on desoldering this one as often as I do on other boards (not that I've had a problem with any of them either).

I picked up an extra PCB and plate. One half plate (Thanks Henry for adjusting my order) and one full plate. I usually buy 2 for piece of mind. Not so much in the board failing on its own, but me somehow being a bonehead and screwing it up. It also helps in this case because I can have 2 setups ready to go. I plan on doing the same with the Fusion60. One brass plate/PCB and one poly plate/PCB. One set up to flex and one set up to be more rigid and put switches in each board accordingly.

Torn between black on black or black w/ rose gold. I'm wondering if rose gold as a half plate will stick out too much since it will contrast with the black pcb showing through on the alphas.....or maybe that's good thing?? these are the tough life questions we all face

I would love to see a poylcarb half plate for this at some point to show off that sweet pcb
