Imsto keycaps!  Blue on Blue 105 and the Red on White GH pair.

And a Choco Mini keybd!  Woo-hoo!  Santa didn't forget me!

This is the first keyboard whose keycaps I didn't immediately remove.  Maybe just those GH keys...

Just curious, how does one fit compare to the other? It looks like the BMX skull's stem insert is smaller than the MX's

The BMX keycaps are designed for the IBM buckling spring keyboards, so it doesn't look properly aligned on MX boards.  The BMX keycaps are much higher in profile as well, as you can see in the first pic.  The concept overall is really well thought out though.  The 2 pieces of plastic within the BMX Skull click snap into eachother very well.

Did ClickClack invent the BMX keycap, or is that an established keycap shape?  I only ask because I have only ever seen CC's keycaps that suite BS and MX.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

well, it's just a two piece keycap. similar to IBM ones. all he did was just make a base for the MX version.

invited it? eh, kind of i guess.

Ah, ok.  Not having a BS keyboard I didn't know they were all 2 piece anyway.  Fair enough, thanks.

She's a beaut! I really do feel that I've now, finally, found the one.

Congrats G-Sharp! And you're right, that board is beautiful.

It really is. I thought It'd take time for me to adapt to the new layout, but it just feels so natural now. The positioning of the control, backspace and cursor keys are much more conveniently placed and I never have to look down at my board any more to readjust my hands. Everything is literally within fingers reach.

And the feel of the keys is just so addictive. Each key press gives you a satisfying, solid thunk - I really cannot get enough of it. I am now convinced that Topre is the switch for me and cannot see myself going back to my cherries. They just feel so hollow and plasticy now.
