Very HHKB-esque, although I gather that is the point :p

The Granite set matches the case nicely.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Thechemist worked his magic with my Kmac recently. A new GON pcb was needed and 75g springs were installed in the vintage blacks. Topped off with some classic beige from Ascaii across the pond :)

Isn't classic beige available through Originative (not sure if the site is trustworthy, from recent reviews)?

They don't have grey F5-F8, no spacebar and Originative are super dodgy themselves.

I think only BSP as well right now, which means nothing to anyone with a modern mech that isn't a Kustom.

They are Triumph Adler dye subs that is correct. They are off a bss200 these ones. I think Ascii has a set for sale, in his for sale thread on DT.

On a black keyboard:

Those are really nice caps, but man... denture bath, please...

I got out my KMAC 2 today and put on some Cherry dyesubs.

Those are super nice! I keep reading about cherry dyesub caps but I don't know what those are...are those keycaps from old cherry boards from ages ago?
What modifiers are those?
Been trying to get cherry dyesub caps and those modifiers.

Yes, I am referring to GON's Kmac pcb. You would have to ask Thechemist about the specifics. It is indeed a much more customisable pcb.

I agree, but he's unfortunately the only source of the caps in discussion.  FWIW I placed an order for said caps a few months ago and received them promptly.

Yup this is the blank PBT set along with the blank PBT RGBs and a GMK spacebar. Despite what I've herd about sherry I've only ever had positive experiences with Originative.

I'm pretty sure function row keys are always the same profile as num row.  This is why when you look at
raffles and what not for artisan keycaps, they usually suggest either the num row location or function row.

It's a high profile alu case from Taobao. It looks really nice. Taobao is full of alu cases and some are really nice.
I wanted a high profile for this build, on the next board I'm going to use a Vortex black low profile case with black plate and vintage blacks.

55g blacks from gon. Caps from YongJK. I hope these doubleshots last me a while.

Almost complete. Just trying to decide what LEDs to put on it. Eagle comes with resisters on it, right? I can't tell what things are by looking at it.

Very nice!  The splat keycap compliments it well.

All you need is to solder in those LEDs on the Eagle.  Resistors and diodes are already soldered on the PCB.

Thanks, Lurch! I'm definitely very happy with mine. I think you just missed one a few days back. Sygaldry got it.
