b7ad, what case color is your 356.2?
edit: apparently it's 'Hyper Silver', but it looks so blue in your newest batch of photos
Yeah it's called 'Hyper-Silver'. It's absolutely beautiful in person, the nicest anodizing I have seen, but really impossible for my abilities to capture properly on camera. There's definitely some blue in it yeah.

Your blog is super nice! Really beautiful pictures!
Thank you sir  :-* :-*

omg.. I 'd love your 356.2 and octopest.... -__- :p

Hnnnng those gmk mods.. Looks fabulous!
Thanks Dustin! :D

That is one serious keyboard you guys have there
so perfect...
Thank you sir! Exitfire's kingsaver is absolutely insane, such a good job done!  :-*

Um...

So...

This case was made in Korea and the sticker on the back says Leopold (as opposed to Topre)...

Does that qualify my board for this thread?  :))

I wouldn't really call the k70's case solid, I meant something like the TEX cases or "better". Then again I've never touched any of corsairs keyboards.

I think those half plates are really cool! Do the Koreans prefer the feeling of pcb mount for lighter switches such as browns?

Didnt have time over the weekend to start building this, really happy to have it

I've been looking for an Apple Silver model for a long, long time.

Here are some pre assembly pics. It's going to be a very fun build but also a very stressful one I can tell :))

Now since about April of 2013, I've been wanting to go all out on a custom, and finally I can say this will be the board I'm doing it on. Originally I wanted to do that with the GH60s, but well we all know what's happened with those lol

For parts, I'm going to be using Nixdorf "Soft Touch" MX Black switches. Trying to decide between 62, 65 and 68 springs right now for what to use..but probably going to roll with 65.
Trying to decide between regular pcb mount cherry stabs and vintage pcb mount screw cherry stabs. Cable is from a G81-3004LANCH.
For keycaps, I'm trying to decide between the keycaps from my ESA-3000-HASRO and my NIB G81-3000HAU varient set.

LZ-RE PINK

I had promised to give RGB PCB, but I couldn't.
So I used beastmask's a87 pcb.
When I make RGB PCB, I will send it to RE buyers. (free of charge)

This is not mine and my skill is not good.  ;D
I assembled this keyboard for a beautiful chinese lady.
(I haven't seen her. :) )

She wanted RED side LED. but Red was not enough brightness.
so I changed White LED.
in order to change LEDs, I used LED sockets.
the wiring is short and simple.
