My NerD60 [CTRL]ALT Edition now with rainbow LED backlight. I have to take time and make some nicer photos because it's really cool looking.

The LED's are the 1.8mm types and mounted inside the switch, this way I can still open the switches and the light is just the right intensity. This is the first board where I made extensive soldering, first time SMD soldering for the resistors and not using a soldering station :p

The beginning of the series 356, 356 of the first series.

00/60 is the only cereal that 356 series are written on the back.
60 Although the production cost, return one was lost in shipping accidents.
So there is only one serial of the keyboard 59.

60 In addition to the degree that there are five sampled keyboards, serial instead, its keyboard,
stated referred engineering sample.

L = Linear custom 356L is optimized for Cherry keyboards black switch  four switches like the name.
The unique feel of firmness so different from the other 356 from the series after that.
plate is made of aluminum full plate.
Decomposing one of DAS keyboard can be assembled immediately, the controller 3000 uses the combination.
So it may be used only with the USB of the 356 series.

Those who prefer black switch one wants to own this 356L,
The first deduction will find someone that is not easy to sell.

When you use the black switch personally, I think the CLS and similar typing feeling.

TL;DR:

So this was a fairly ambitious project me since I've never owned anything besides an Apple USB keyboard before. I lurked around a lot of threads doing research before deciding on a Winkeyless build. Sorry for my subpar photos, I don't have a good camera myself and have been unable to get a hold of my father-in-law's 5D for better photos yet. The keyset I have currently isn't endgame territory for me either, but it'll do for now till a good group buy comes along. Thinking of joining Granite R4 or maybe Electric SA if that ever goes anywhere.

Parts list:
* Winkeyless B.face PCB
* iQunix Lambo case
* Midnight DCS (50% off sale on PMK)
* Clear switches

I ordered the PCB with zero soldering options since soldering is fun and I like a challenge. I had to sort out a few cold solder joints on the main microcontroller, basically just reheating the pins that looked iffy and checking if all the rows/columns were responding. Turned out pretty clean looking unless you look really close:

I also lifted the pin 1 pad of the ATiny micro that controls the RGB lights. Turns out it wasn't actually connected to anything on the PCB which is why it came off so easily in the first place.

The trick is to sell it on GH after you get your use out of it, somebody will snag it up in a heartbeat. Ghostjuggernaut's DGE just sold for 1.5k.

Yeah but I also don't see him getting 1.5k for a 356CL here either, some pretty prefer to have the boards built because they can't do it themselves while others would love a kit. Either way the money would be better off in the bank collecting interest or being invested rather than an unbuilt keyboard.

When I said 1.5k  I was making a rough estimate about how much the kit would decrease in value, I prob overestimated it. Let's say a 356CL is 4k and a assembled kit is around 3k at best.

If you're talking about the unicorn x-2, the unicorn's bottom wasn't angle like that, it used a long bar foot.

Most of these boards aren't any more or less rare than the others.  They just don't make their way to our corner of the community very often, and they are hyped to no end.
