You aren't getting a better typing experience with an OTD contrary to any other well-made board.

It's true.

HHKB, silent sliders, lubed = best typing experience on world. GG

bull****. i had a 356mini, and it literally ended poverty in my neighborhood. but then i got rid of it and we're all poor as **** again.

also, 55g RF best typing experience NA.

Very busy with studies atm.

I actually prefer silenced and lubed 45g hhkb over 55g rf, although both are great!  :)

For real though, 55g ain't got **** on lubed linears in a heavy OTD. Any heavy board really, but brass doesn't grow on trees and few things weigh as much as a 107-key model F. My Realforce is my first love, but it feels like a toy.

No argument there. My only beef with hhkb and rf is how light they are. I mean there are digi log cases but meh.

oh thought people wanted that.  Well then better alu case.  Or titanium for the rich folks

Aluminum case...titanium is pointless imo.

Late February to be exact. I am getting another one for sure.
Anyway, there's a stand for this board

Show Image

http://kbdlab.co.kr/index.php?document_srl=3286770&mid=board_etc

Yep, definitely getting this one in Alps. There is no question. I've been wanting an Alps custom that isn't TKL layout for a while!
Moi aussi! $400 is definitely in the affordable price range for me. Gonna have to cut back on spending though.

Man I hope I can get one!  I wanted to try an ergodox, but the layout just isn't good fo using OG caps.  plus Korean boards are so cool!

Yup! The board is really quite well though out.
The acrylic middle layer is really important, not because it diffuses light, but because it acts as a bumper to protect the metal housing when you bump the two halves together.

That's exactly what I was going for.
Thanks for noticing :)
(Plus it's not acrylic. It's poly-carbonate)

Everyone needs to shut up and stop arguing.

This is a thread to post custom keyboards.  Title preserved for historical reasons.  We don't need a thread for each nationality.

Media threads are for pictures, not bickering.

Carry on.

not hall effect. The switches aren't actually all in separate housings but instead in groups of four. Might be a magnetic reed of some sort
