H that's just a regular silver color right?

me? yea, silver. The silver on the TGRs is surprisingly nice

Yeah. I was surprised. Usually silver looks boring. But that's actually nice.

Titanium gray? That's the one I have. I agree--it looks stunning in person.
But when I was picking options I thought it was gonna be darker so that's why I chose it. When the final pics came up I was a bit distraught, but honestly it's the best silver I've seen and I'm so glad I chose it.

I think every time I've said silver someone has replied "titanium grey." Mine is silver, not titanium grey

Yeah, it was like a ruined titanium grey. But I am having problem in getting back the same color.

Yeah man, I really appreciate how awesome Den was for making it for me on the house.

Pretty much all the love toward that board in general has been really awesome. Because of that and all the work I put into it, along with it being very visually appealing to me, it's my absolute favorite.

Hotswapping is really nice if you just want to try out some new Alps switches or if any are acting up! Though TBH, the Infinity keyboard already allows hotswapping Alps switches, even if this is an unintentional design perk. I use that as my initial test bed for Alps to get a good impression of them before I put them toward any projects. It's actually not easy to pull the switches out of this thing. Takes some wiggling to loosen them up. The Infinity will let the switches go with along with its caps, lol. Not this one.

The VE.A will be amazing, but I'm not sure if anything can dethrone how I feel about my "Hammer Alps" board. 60% is a nice portable format too! It's gonna be interesting with the VE.A in terms of transporting it anywhere; I'm not sure if the halves lock together at all or are just always free.

I'll definitely commission a custom case for it like I have with my Octagon, but I'm thinking it might work better ergodox case style with two separate halves that snap together.

I ran GB on kbdlab just for PCB Vergo type.T.
And I shared acrylic housing design in public.
Price of PCB was 28000 KRW(green one, white one was 35000KRW), about 26~7 USD, it uses winkeyless's U-CON (it's not on winkeyless store right now but the price was 11000 KRW without pre-soldering option)
I ROK, you can order acrylic housing about 30000KRW. (plus nuts, bolts about 5000KRW)
Rest of parts are very common, switches, stabilizers... and so on. plus SATA cable :)

And about Taeyeon's hair, I cannot more agree with ya. but you know, she is a style leader. So that must be cool. I guess.

alpetit is more like 'real' hobby thing to me.
I don't use it in common way. Just for building joy and you know, 60% is very cute :)
Somebody showed me some of Alps plate spring switch from IBM 5576 keyboard, it was really unique and felt incredible.
So I designed PCB for that switch. it's alpetit II.

Thank you

And about Taeyeon, it's not wallpaper, it's MV.
I sold that huge monitor (43") cause it's "too" big for me.
Now I have 32" for work and 24" for K-pop girl-groups MV. (Yes, just for MVs)

* I read last posts and saw some arguing about thread title
* I'm a bit scared  :-[, plus I cannot understand some of posts (short english hmm)
* anyway, I'm a Korean, and all my keyboard is Korean, so I think this is not a problem on this thread.

I "love" Taeyeon too but my bias is Jessica and Suzy :D
I used to follow SNSD and TTS a whole lot but haven't been doing so for a bit.
I still follow her on insta though. Her pics are quite hilarious at times while Sica's looks pretty as always on her pics!
Anyways, back to the topic, really cool boards you have.
I particularly like the split ones without the border. Looks like a lego block when combined together :D

You have a really awesome board right there bro what about the alpetit 2? I see your videos and I have to say that I really liked the sound of alps plate spring!

alpetit is more like 'real' hobby thing to me.
I don't use it in common way. Just for building joy and you know, 60% is very cute :)
Somebody showed me some of Alps plate spring switch from IBM 5576 keyboard, it was really unique and felt incredible.
So I designed PCB for that switch. it's alpetit II.

I have an IBM P70 that uses Alps Plate Spring, so if ever you wish to run a GB or sale on the Alpetit II, I'd love to put those switches to us! Even if I do find them a little weird. They are just so different than the Alps I'm used to, hehe.

Thanks to xondat, he made VE.A thread.
https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=79183.0

I'll post GB information on that thread :)
I cannot run GB directly here because of rules, So I'll run it on kbdlab and share link.

Hi zefyr.  Thanks for sharing your pictures.  :D

If you are saying that the geekhack rules prevent you from running it here, you will only have to wait 4 more days to be able to post a thread here.  :thumb:  But if the rules you are talking about are other rules outside of geekhack, then never mind.  :)  If you want to chat about group buy rules, feel free to PM me.

It's a Duck Lightpad, almost a 0% chance that you'll get one. They're very limited.
