I think it's because it's not the classic
Pretty sure the RGB mod comes from desko set, desko board which I still think goes very well with a classic beige. And you need nothing else added , so beautiful

Very nice board meow a cat! Titanium grey was always my favorite color but that silver looks really good. I'm really digging that keyset combo you got going on as well. :thumb:

The more I see KMACs the more I like them. Thought they were too angular when I first saw them, but now I think that's what's so great :))

Yeah, the case has a real simplicity to it. The KMAC was one of the first Korean customs I saw when I joined GH, and I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it! Probably my favourite custom.

The colours are still a work in progress.. I'm really looking for Mint Gum stuff. In a perfect world, I'd like to have Mint Gum WASD, Arrows, Skull on Esc, and two Mint Gum blanks over the split backspace. It might take me a few years to collect all of the pieces though.  :blank:

I'm also looking for something for the FN key, not sure what though. Artisan MX FN keys aren't too common.

The numpad is probably the one thing that requires a brass insert the most. There just isn't enough material to let it sit in place.

I had the acrylic plate with 65g Zealios and it was amazing. It was probably my favorite tactile typing.

Always though Zealio sounded a little wonky, myself. CUSTOM GATERON PURPLE SWITCHES.

I plan on using some of their housings along with the clear-stemmed MX Vintage White switches I've got coming. The idea of a fully translucent clicky switch is just sick. Carbon fiber stickers to match the black click slider. Probably the only thing in the MX world that's still exciting to me, haha.

That said, yeah. I was thinking this board was actually going to have an aluminum bottom, but I was wrong! Rainb1ood's was also this way. I've been wanting to build an aluminum one for some time now, haha. Sed8op8's was full aluminum and I was slated to build that for her, but I'm not sure if she decided to take a shot at it herself or if she found someone else. :P

I had to MacGuyver a 7u wire for Slush since the gold space bar wire included was only 6.25u. It all worked out in the end. Thank you tin shears, dremel, clear coat, and victorionox.

Also did the band-aid mod on the stabs for the first time. Really not sure if it does anything, at least not more than a good lubing does, but it was fun to mess with anyway. :P

yes, slider is a small part of the equation. contact point (leaf) and housing also play a big role.
Zealio is the best branding what are you guys talking about! silly and easy to remember, and with a personal connotation to the designer.

Thanks for the heads up, Alienman.

I have considered this and some have told me that the Gateron housings cause a deeper click. I definitely won't go swapping all 120 of the whites into the Zealio housings without testing them first, but I definitely like the idea of having them in a fully translucent housing. If the feel or sound isn't ruined (subjectively speaking) in any way, then I'll go for it. :D

Speaking of the KMAC pad. Well of course, I like the Lightpad quite a bit myself.

I think the thick bezel on the KMAC is sick, but I dislike the isolated Esc key, though it is definitely a practical choice. I'm partial to the extra row on the Lightpad though.

Thank you! I was so happy to make the build work for him. I'd hate to have to have said "no, sorry, the space bar wire won't work, I can't put it together for you," or prolong it due to needing to source a part. So I made one myself!

Yep, I do offer assembly services, but I just have yet to make a page advertising such services, haha.
