You can always try and score a RS96 on taobao, that would be a cheaper option. :thumb:

Thanks guys :3 I will probably do another photo shoot soon when I get a chance

Is it possible to mount the SIP-sockets with the plastic-jacket? Zeal only sells them without ...

It is but you will have to use a file to make sure they fit cause they don't split perfectly. The main issue is that the legs don't stick out very far and the solder will have to wick down to the legs

Seriously really cool, what g switches are they?

I really wish I was able to at least see mine before customs decided to **** it up. The perfect shade of pink for a keyboard case.

Agreed, very subtle pink. I don't think I could ever have a board that's hot pink.

Korean custom keyboards usually start around $400 nowadays. Western custom boards usually start around $200.

Mind you, those prices are just for bare kits.

Sorry but what are bare kits? And also what are the main differences between a western custom and a korean custom? Do the korean keybords have better customization and better quality?

bare kits means you just buy the plate + pcb + housing
I don't know about quality of western custom cause I never had them. But I have to say that korean customs are really a good quality

Bare kits meaning the essentials: cases, plates, PCBs. Everything else you supply and build.

Western boards are stuff like the ErgoDox, WhiteFox, and other boards you can find made here.
