It took me so long when i had to take that part off on my happy haha... was scared i'd break pcb when i took it off <_<

I just had it all setup so I figured I'd do it later. I need plate screws before I can put the case back on anyway!

Same here. When took them off my
LZ-FE was afraid I'd break the PCB.
Wasn't as bad getting them off my KMAC2.

TBF, it was designed and produced to be the budget keyboard at the time (similar to the DGE). Objectively speaking, neither are particularly "premium"; though in both cases, the aftermarket took a mind of its own.

I'll look for a noose long enough for both of us E3E.

If you look closely the LEDs have been filed to prevent rubbing.

How to best file these? Mine are rubbing and driving me crazy sometimes. They also get knocked out of my sips because of the contact. Or where to find ice blue 1.8mm LEDs...

If you want to do it quicker, you can mount a dremel in a tool vice and then just grind the LEDs that way. Just make sure not to take too much off.

I'd rather use 1.8mm LEDs these days out of convenience, but I originally went for 2x3x4mm LEDs due to research on LEDs before ever actually having bought any customs. They do indeed cause clearance issues with Cherry profile caps, which is something I didn't read about beforehand.

didn't see that, but I wouldn't bother just get 1.8mm

I mean if I was building it I would use 1.8mm but Bro purchased his board pre-made so he didn't really have a choice.
