HofmanMyster !!!!!!

I'm really sorrrrrrry !!

forgive me !!

For those that haven't realized it yet, the case colors are meant to match the four common Cherry MX switch types. :D

Haha, I didn't even realize that.  That's awesome.  :)

I resubmitted my order after the changes were made to the form!

Will you be updating the original post or linking to a spreadsheet so we can now if our orders are ok? I submitted mine before the changes.

Did you need to make changes? You could PM or email Justin in that case.

If it's just the shipping address you're concerned about, have no fear, I have your address. :D

Doh! Obviously...haha...all is good then!! ;)

Any chance of a better red option? The current red looks really dull and washed out, almost pink.

Hi, I think you can refer to TEX case's color,

But in this case, anodized color will be deep more.

Yes, I will be taking care of the US shipping for these cases. You can also contact me with any questions, and I will relay to Justin if he's not on the forum. :)

Price is as follows:

- Ship to USA ( all location )  is 122.9 USD (only 1 pcs , if you want add more , 1 pcs add 100 USD)
- Ship to Europe country is 135 USD (only 1 pcs , if you want add more , 1 pcs add 100 USD)
- Ship to Asia country is 120 USD (only 1 pcs , if you want add more , 1 pcs add 100 USD)

Package will have ( 1* alu case / 1*cable / 1 set big rubber feet / 1 set standard rubber feet )

Questions for you or Justin:

1. Regarding the Non-Anodized option, will this look just like the finish on the Tex Beetle faceplate? I refer to the finish on the Tex Beetle as "Brushed Aluminum". Will it look like this, or will it be non-brushed?

2. Are there functional advantages to anodized vs non-anodized (besides the aesthetic factor of color)?

Comment: I would have preferred a high-profile case, but I am also looking for something simple, as opposed to things like the brass inlays on the other currently active GB.

Thanks.

Justin or sdiearly answered this before I think, but anyway, the case is not brushed or anodized, as in the Tex Beetle case. If you get the Non-Anodized option, it will be just as it comes off the machine, with the tooling marks visible.

The disadvantage to not having the aluminum anodized is that it can pick up stains, oxidation, etc. Anodizing protects the surface of the aluminum.

Justin,

The announcement says that the cases are made by Lan-li. Is this possibly the same as Lian Li, the legendary maker of aluminum PC cases? I had a custom workstation built last year, and the case was a masterpiece of minimalism created by Lian Li in Taiwan. Thanks.

I sooooo don't need another 60% case, but I don't know if I can resist this one. It looks REALLY nice. Tex's quality control is exceptional.

I'd really like to see examples of all the colors though. I'm thinking I may have to get a blue one.

I'm not sure if this satisfies your curiosity on the colors, but clicking the order form will show you stock samples of the colors.  Not finished products, but it's better than nothing?

Before I place an order, can someone explain how to install the Poker II into this case? Do I simply pop the entire keyboard with its original case in, or do I need to remove the plastic case? If so, how do I remove the plastic case?

I really want a grey/black one, but if that's not possible, I'll just get a black one.

you remove the keycaps, then the case screws and the pcb/plate lift out of the original case and screw into the new case

I've to say this case design should give pcb mounted switch less flex than others that I've seen.

Ordered a grey one.  This IMHO is the best 60% case that offers something different in size/profile from the others.

Canada orders will most likely be shipped by Tex directly.

Shipping from me to Canada in a Medium Flat Rate Priority Mail Box (how I'm shipping these) would be $40.95. USPS International rates are teh suck.

I debated a long time between the gray, blue, and brown colors. Finally ended up going with a gray, because it's the easiest to match color-wise.

It's still early in Taiwan. :)

But I would count on about $128.70 for a US order. Others priced accordingly.
