Sounds good :) I haven't played in awhile and when I do I'm like on and off so I get rusty but should be interesting :)

I also used to play BF3 when it first came out but haven't really played since. Might have to start that up again, from what I'm seeing :))

Shadow of the Colossus. I keep the black bars intentionally. The right hand side I use some of those gadgets that no one uses. But these come in handy for me. And the left side I sometimes drop some files temporarily. For some reason, it bothers me to keep them on top of the image.

Love that game. Played it first on PS2 when it came out and then got the HD version on PS3 too :)

Oh I am with you there. I played and replayed that game so many times. It was a simple game, but something about the presentation was magical.

In my opinion atmospheric games are the best games. Immersion is an addictive thing in video games, which is why horror games are usually so fun even if the mechanics suck.

Jin Roh - The Wolf Brigade. Do yourself a favor and go watch it, in Japanese with subs, please. I believe in watching movies in their native tongue in order to preserve the emotion and tone. You may miss a few high details in history/setting/culture IF lacking the knowledge in Japanese political history (70-90's), which further makes the movie such an even more awesome piece, but even without that, it's setting, atmosphere, and mood are superb.

Mamoru Oshii did the live action movies named The Red Spectacles (1987) and StrayDog - Kerberos Panzer Cops (1991). Hiroyuki Okiura is crucial in Mamoru Oshii's work in Patlabor and Ghost in the Shell.

Cheers will defo check it out, though with English dubbing if it's avaliable. I don't understand Japanese so any original tone infured through the original VA would be lost on me as most anime movies in Japanese seem to been wildly over-acted and hysterical lol

I can accept that. However, this movie is not the average fantasy anime film but has a more serious tone with a drama/realistic tone. So take it into consideration :)

It's a political intrigue movie with an alternate take on Japanese history in the 1950's where Germany has taken over Japan. It focuses on a special police force that is fighting protestors and domestic terrorists. Does that get you more interested? :) OH, and it uses the Little Red Riding Hood as a central theme. Pretty cool what they did with it too.

I love Mamoru Oshii's stuff though there are a few I haven't tracked down yet. Kerberos Saga is great, and of course Ghost in the Shell is legendary. Also the live action Avalon and Assault Girls I would recommend highly. See Jin Roh, then enjoy the wallpapers.
