I agree with this. The NorDeUK kit won't benefit from hitting a cheaper price if you have to buy an additional kit (Commando) to actually create the layout associated with it. Also have you considered a 1u AltGr?

Really nice looking set! I'd like to see spacebars in the extra alphas kit, since you also have an extra modifiers set. That would let me use it as two full sets without having to worry about which bottom row each keyboard has.

It depends on a few things. Sets that consist of stock colors are currently estimated at 11-13 months. Set's that require color-matching will take even longer. Queue times will increase as more and more sets are ran. There really isn't a good way to narrow it down but expect at least a year of waiting once the GB ends.

Basically we have went full circle back to the days of the 1st GB in 2011 when because no one had ever tried to get GMK to make a specific set outside of their factory standard sets, it took a long time to design, work with and even order the caps, then it took the organised (7bit usually) forever to make up each kit by hand, he actually spent his time putting each cap into bags to make a full set.  Now it is easy to order and easy for them to place in pre determined kits but unfortunately, because there are 100 of kits year, instead of maybe two, it just takes as long.

Hi guys, so - I do agree that it would make sense, unless it breaks the bank, therefor we are trying to get quotes for 2 variations, and see if it would be viable at all. Renders for reference.

Dumb question maybe, but why 3 pairs of page up/down in the base kit, yet only 1 position for insert and home? I've literally not used the page keys in ages, but home (and end) is essential for navigating non-modal editors quickly (office docs, email, etc...). Shift-Ins is my go to for pasting into a terminal emulator since C-v tends to be captured by my terminal apps.

I don't expect to affect the GB or anything. I'm genuinely curious about why anyone would value the page up/down keys so much.

There are others that need end/del to accompany home/insert and usually end up putting that in R2. This relegates pgup/pgdn to R3/R4.

So because pgup/pgdn is a less important key, it’s moved to a lower position, and therefore need more permutations to accommodate different uses.

I think people tend to use home with end, and insert with delete. Personally I only use delete, and I’ll put delete as R1, pgup R2, pgdn R4 and fn R4

Thanks for the input. Basically my ideal right column layout on a 65% would have Insert, Delete, Home, End. Ordering doesn't matter to me, as long as they all fit with correct row sculpting. I'm not sure that's possible with any of the sets I've seen so far.

re: 65% kitting. maybe use delete for split backspace? and unpopular opinion: insert is worthless (layer it to delete). then layer other nav keys to arrows and use right column for something else. but i feel your pain as a mac using tsangan supporter who does not appreciate control-system-alt layout on bottom row. lucky for me this set has commando kit
