Either you do not have to read or you did not read my previous post. I said that the prices are floating and a good example are the latest ebay sales. I never said anything about my own guess.

He asked for a price quote, and every time someone comes in this particular forum and ask for a quote, you give them the same 'it's a mystery!!!' answer. It's not a mystery, so give them a price or don't bother commenting. They asked for help, not more confusion.
Jdcarpe mentioned DanGWanG because he has a reputation for being an honest trader, unlike some people...

First of all, I sold my keyboard that you seem to be referring to at current US market value, and they pointed out that it was high in their market. Nobody was ripping anyone off. Also, I was open with my prices, not making ripoff deals behind the scenes like you.
You can look at my past sales on here and see I have sold things for less than what I paid, sometimes more depending on the item, but they have always been fair.

As I said, it has already come to light your true nature. I guess you didn't get the memo when your status was revoked for it.

lol this again...

I guess cactux needs a reminder, and so does the general population. Any of you reading information from cactux about CC's, please see his quotes below:

Quote from: cactux;618080
You do know nothing about my trades, because I am not post them.
Quote from: cactux;618055
Just for reference I traded 7 keycaps for darth vader ;-). You will have to start begging someone else to sell his darth vader
Quote from: cactux
Sorry there were not 7 for Darth Vader I traded 9.

The reason why he keeps prices so mysterious, is so he can actually reap all the benefits for himself.  He remains in the shadows about his trades, as quoted above, and refuses to release any information about his sales and/or trades.  I've nit picked at him so much because he is notorious for trying to gain an edge on the trade deal.  The valuation of a CC is based on the credibility of the valuer.  If people believe my credibility is sound, who are you (cactux) to make any judgement or assumptions considering your history?

I would value the caps $50 each.

Remember, ebay prices are highest bidder's price and it certainly do not reflect what an average person would pay. If you are lucky enough to find persons who are willing to shell out a lot of money for them, of course you would be able to sell it at higher price, but the number of those people is limited and surely as more CC caps flow into the market the willingness to pay premium over MSRP will decline.

I have a feeling that I might be one of those who value the CC caps at lower than average person would pay, however.

DanW you are so immature or so Stupid. Who will trade me 7 keycaps for darthvader. noboby unless has been party with mr. junky (DW). The last DV that I  had, was trade it to Jesuswasa zombi for 1 yes 1 keycap and the other the same.

You like to be on the eye of the camera, because your EGO. You post pictures of your pseudo collection because your EGO. I do not need to do that

Ok, I'm gonna turn the subject away from the Clacks for a moment...

Does anyone know what a Triforce modifier cap is worth? I am currently in the market for one and would like to know what I should be expecting to pay. I'm not sure how many of them are out there...

Tri-force modifiers were originally made available to GB investors for $7, I think.  Given some inflation rates, standard SP modifier, uncommon rarity, etc etc.  I'd say a fair price would be in the $10-13 range.

Ok cool, thanks Dan.

If anyone has one they would be willing to sell, I'll pay well over the market clearing price. I'll offer $20 plus shipping costs. Just goes to show how badly I want one.

If you say so. I hate blues, so it wouldn't be worth more to me. :P

And you can swap stems and/or springs to make the Poker have ANY switch type very easily.

dvdhsu, if you want to sell it quick 250. I personally don't think that all the extra colored bits add much value but someone looking for that specific setup in terms of black case and white keys etc might feel otherwise.

Isn't the general rule that things depreciate to about 3/4 what they retail for once used?

Price check on a complete set of CC's? ;D

would you experts consider octopink CC to be equal to say a 3D CC, or hardcore white??
or would it be "less valuable" because it was a dibs sale
With the prices on CC, i can't figure out if they're an equal value lol.

@ projectD
I highly recommend you stay away from asking about CC key appraisals as they tend to be a bit controversial. If you really don't know what to ask for it, put it up for auction. Posts pertaining to them in this thread will likely be deleted. Thanks!
im askin opinion on trades, not what its worth, figured that would be ok
