ABOUT

Mint is a keycap set derived from Memories, Memories was a keycap set I designed containing 2 different color schemes, the other one Cotton Candy.
After all the feedback I have decided to fully work on Mint.

I currently have a few interested vendors and we will use EPBT as manufacturer!

I really preferred Cotton Candy as it was more in line with the whole Memories theme and my childhood... :(

Is color IRL closer to renders or kits images? I like how it looks in the render but not so much in the kits.

Interested, but I prefer centered alphas.  I noticed you have that in some of the international kits.  Would be great if you could modify the alphas kit to match.

French kit yeah!

But why on the North / south and French kit legends are centered? Is that a mistake?

Is an alpha colored Mods child kit a possibility? So we could mix and match what accent mods we wanted to use/where we wanted them?

Cool idea on current kit breakdown and interested to see whether you'll be sticking to it; mainly because it looks like KAT kits but it's shown as Cherry Profile. Infinikey has had an all-encompasing base kit in the past, and separated alpha and mods kits would cost a lot more for GMK and ePBT compared to a standalone base kit with additional add-on kits.

Wish you luck on your choices, and hope it works out! :thumb:

I had no sources for KAT Renders so the renders are currently in cherry profile untill I find a vendor who can help out.

First of all thanks for doing a French Kit, it's very much appreciated in a hobby that is so ANSI-Centric.

Renders seem to be Cherry Profile, what manufacturer will be used for Cherry Profile PBT ?
What legends will you use ? Will they be dye-sublimated ?

Since we're talking Azerty, I have a few corrections on the French kit.

Few keys have a third sub-legend, they don't appear on your kit. Also a few keys need to be lowercase.
See the correct keys I put in the picture.

Here's a French keyboard with correct legend.

I'm only talking about the French portion of your kit. I hope The belgian portion is correct.

EDIT : Also you need AltGr keycaps and possibly Legend only Modifiers to be attractive to the ISO community.

As for manufacturer we are currently looking at KAT however I still need to get renders for KAT profile.

Thanks for the interest!

There's nothing wrong with KAT. But here International kits are really interesting for people willing to make combos with those kits for example. Because AZERTY compatibility is not available in a lot of sets and because this set has pretty neutral Alphas, it could be cool for a lot of people to have it and use it with other kits for example.

I recommend changing the backspace in the Colevrak kit to modifier color.

Also, if you add the highlighted keycaps below it will exactly match the Colevrak+ kits in at least six upcoming KAT sets: Atlantis, Explosion, Goddess, Lich, Oasis, and Lucky Jade.

You can find details here about the alternative layouts this would then cover.

Love this set, but would prefer if you're going to split up the kits remove all the 40s / ortho compat out of the base kit and put in the snowflake kit so I don't have to buy alphas, tkl, and the snowflake kit. It's a lot of extra keys I won't use and don't want to have to store.

The «AltGr» key should be green like other modifiers, and maybe labeled «Alt Gr»

edit: to be honest I don't mind using a classic «Alt» key but if you go for it, why not ;)

There is a space between Alt and Gr but the site I used to render the kits seems to put them together, idk why. Will be fixed when I get new kit renders :thumb:
