Liking it, pretty interested (in the none hotswap) how thick is the plate out of curiosity? Apologies if I missed it, but I couldn't see it listed above?
This looks pretty neat! How much does the case weigh and what's the typing angle? And any chance we could have different colors for the top and bottom?

Just want to say TriangleLab has been very helpful throughout the disaster that was AL1 and to reiterate that he wasn't manufacturing that board, just helping to run the GB
Tempted to join for 1 or 2 pcbs, but dont know how much the shipping cost will be. Any estimate shipping cost to SEA?
One of the pics looks to be having a green case?? Is that possible? Or only those in the form?

How much does this board weigh? How tall is the front of the keyboard? Interested :)
I've got two color questions:
1: do you have a better pic of the Midnight Blue? The picture is pretty bad.
2: is it possible to get a board in the green-grey-ish color one of the protos is in? I really like that.
Just to confirm, the plate of the case will not support the 3u space layout?
That's going to look great with the brass backplateI've got two color questions:

1. Sure. Here (https://i.loli.net/2018/06/30/5b37853349100.jpg) you are.
2. That prototype is actually black. There's a color distortion due to the lighting.
Dedicated ANSI, please.
Dedicated ANSI, please.
I second this.
Damn, no wkl layout? Would buy instantly...
Looks great! Seems like we can only choose one backplate option in the form though? Is it possible to get two? Interested in the acrylic and the brass options both if possible.

Also, in the diagram it looks like that hotswap wired pcb might have smd rgb leds, but I could be looking at diodes. I think you would have mentioNed if it were rgb, but wanted to ask just in case.
just want to make sure,
1. this case (tr60) support standard 60% pcb like dz60/gh60/leeku f3 etc?
2. same with Keebmeupscotty up there, can i order 2 backplate (alumunium/brass and acrilyc)?
3. is the plate support switch top removal? or you can change the plate to support switch top removal?
4. can i use other bluetooth dongle in the market? or maybe can i use bluetooth on my wireless card(laptop)? (never use bluetooth keyboard before.)
Does the wired PCB support USB C or USB mini?
Looks tempting :)
Just wondering, is there a reason all PCBs out there are either hotswappable or Bluetooth, but never both? I can’t figure out why...
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Does the PCB have SMD LEDs? Or are those just holes for when you solder your own LEDs?
And wow, this will be USB Type C? You got me, I'm definitely in. Type C is indeed the future
The plate supports split backspace and split right shift, right? Might be tempted if I can use it with a wired PCB that supports thoseYup, the plate supports both of those
Is the bluetooth pcb compatible with other 60% cases?

Signed up for a black one with brass weight and hotswap pcb.
Will the invoice go out after the GB ends?
thanks!
Some questions:
- Would it be possible to get an extra acrylic back plate, even if we order the brass?
- What other cases, if any, will the PCB support?
- Any typing test for sound?
It's too bad that the Fusion60 group buy hasn't started yet. I don't have the budget for both boards, and I would want to see the final price on the Fusion.
I think I didn't fill in that shipping address part fully (it autofilled). Do you want me to resubmit?
No more finished build pics?
Hmm just a random question but I didn’t notice a hole for USB input on the case, it appears to be covered by the back plate? Is that correct, it could be on the other side and just not pictured, but I saw the area for it inside the case but no exterior hole.
Ok so I see it in the new pictures that you posted, I can the the hole through the PC back plate but it is definitely covered by that plate. Will the final version gave a hole in the back plate for the wired PCB?

My concern as well, will there be a special backplate for wired PCBs? Or will we have to create them ourselves (i.e. by dremel)?
ooh I have not spotted it, +1 for an answer,
As the price makes this attractive for newbies, would you consider adding an option for assembly for the Bluetooth pcb?
Does the hot-swap PCB come with with a keyswitch puller?
Anyway I can pay extra for the hotswap pcb to have another layout? Asking too late now but hoping it would work out
In the OP you mentioned that the Bluetooth PCB only works with the acrylic back plate. Why is that? Reception issues or something else?
Does the web configurator for the Bluetooth PCB have layer tap functionality (layer when held, key when tapped; LT() in QMK), or does it support something like TMK which does?
Just paid for my invoice. :thumb: Curious, where will the GB ship from? Just want to get an idea on shipping time and cost.
Where will this be shipping from? Just to know if I will face import fees :)
1. All metal case will make the keyboard a faraday cage.I have an all-metal KBDfans 5° case and metal plate with a Bluetooth PCB and it works fine up to ~3 m. Have you tested this PCB with the metal back panel and can confirm that it doesn't work?
2. Yes, layer toggling is supportedCan you share a link to the web configurator? I would like to see its full capabilities before I order.
Any chance at a different color? Would love this in a subtle gold or greenI'm assuming you not replying to this question means it's a no? (As I always tell people, no is also an answer :) )

Holy **** great pricing! If you are planning to make one with normal layout (non HHKB), I'll be down. For now, I'll just keep tabs on the thread!

There is a normal (non hhkb) layout available.
I’m obviously retarded. Thank you, not sure why I didn’t notice that in the OP.
Was really on the fence with this one, but without a dedicated ANSI layout, I just couldnt do it.

EDIT:
Not sure if you meant the case or PCB, but I'm pretty sure the case does.

Not sure how I missed this.. I really like this case. May have to look for one aftermarket.
Hello, any update regarding this?
You've mentioned previously that the wired PCB will come with a set of single-colored SMD LEDs and will be available in different color options.
Any information on which colors would be available?
Since I already started communicating with Victor, I decided to send him another email. Below is what he said about the wired and bluetooth PCB and estimated production finish. I will post the pictures later, when he sends them to me.
First, about the wired-PCB LED color option.Of course, it still available.I had bought some kind of color SMD LEDs. They are Red,Pink,Golden,Blue,White,Green and Yellow. For users who have purchased a wired version,I will send a statistical form. Btw,I will send the photos of those LED light on the PCB to you tonight.
Second, about the production schedule,in the past Mid-Autumn festival holiday,I went to the factory located in Shenzhen city.According to their internal production schedule, our TR-60 case still need about 10 working days, because of the Chinese National Day holiday——it about 6~7 days——so it will take about 17~20 days.
Third, about the wired PCB,the wired PCB production goes well, and because of the personal SMD LED color option, everyone need solder the LED by yourself.
about the blue-tooth PCB and website, it is the biggest challenge in this project, the firmware engineer re-build more than 1/4 code of the firmware. The website, we had an functional prototype, and now only have Chinese version and not translate to English, and the new GUI is not finish yet.I hope I could give you or some others interesting this website an testing URL and account in 10 days later.
Here is Victor's reply about the LEDs, so you can think about which colors to choose. Below is the imgur link with images.
LEDs are green, blue, pink(looks like purple), yellow, red and white, and according to the supplier said the pink is a little color deviation.
By the way, in the last email I said the color had golden and yellow, but supplier said the two kind of LEDs is very similar light in vision. So finally they are 6 color options.
Color----Green, Pink(Purple),Yellow(Golden), Blue, Red, White.

As you can see in my previous update he said that he will send a form to those who ordered the wired PCB.
As far as I know Victor still has no access to foreign websites so the only way to communicate with him is through email.
Since I am just a middle man and have nothing to do with the GB it's best if you write him an email for more specific questions.
I tried to email him but he did not respond. Are there any new updates regarding this? o-o

He usually needs a few days to answer so it might be a while. He sent me an email on Saturday and a second one on Monday but I haven't had the time to post it here yet. Below are the two emails and attached pictures.
The first batch of five cases had arrived my home and I found I make a very silly mistake. When used the standard GH60 pcb which used the Mini-USB plug.Between the plastic sheath on the Mini-USB cable and the keyboard case had interference. This is my fault, and I think adjust the size of the back plate will solve this problem.I will send you the new design map snapshot today or tomorrow.
I had adjust the back-plate size and render some pictures. The back-plate is resize from 15 millimeters to 17 millimeters.
You can see an Mini-USB Female Plug in the render picture.I had sent it to the factory and they will fix the wrong back-plate size as sooner as possible.

I apologize for the late update but I was very busy during the week. It seems that the production is coming to an end and I don't think the backplate problem will add much additional time.
I will write another email to Victor tomorrow (in cca 30h) regarding the ETA on shipping date, so if any of you have any other questions regarding the GB drop me a message on GH and I will include it in the email.
TriangleLab’s last activity was September 3rd? Should I be worried ?
Anyone else get any info shipping ?
It would be good if anyone of you who ordered the wired PCBs, can confirm or deny, that you received a form to choose the LED colors, so we can know everything is going according to plan.
Victor said those should be sent out on 28th of October.
Hi Everyone,
As mentioned in the GB post on GH, the wired PCB (TR60w) support SINGLE color 3528 LEDs. Each PCB comes with one set of LEDs in one color. As the production is almost done, it's time for you to choose the color of LEDs.
For each wired PCB you ordered, you need to specify the color of LEDs you want.
If you don't fill in this form in time, the LEDs will be white by default.
Here is the URL on the google doc, please fill in this form, and I could buy all the LEDs from the supplier.
By the way, because of the personalization options, the wired PCB's LED should soldering by yourself.
When are these going to be delivered? May try and keep an eye for after market.
I have received the form and have filled it out. He sent one email stating:
He didn't include the google doc form originally and had a follow up email to include it. Along with this photo
...the hotswap pcb won't be compatible with cherry profile keycaps.
...the hotswap pcb won't be compatible with cherry profile keycaps.
Isn't the capability issue only a problem when you have 3mm LEDs? You're talking about when the key cannot fully bottom out right?
Uhh, I have an addiction and this looks cool. I'm up to grab one from someone lol
I def never received an email of any kind from OP for my wired pcb's
Victor sent me an update today, so just leaving it here.
The Bluetooth PCB is USB + Bluetooth. The case‘s re-CNC and the re-color is almost finish, because of mistake of the backplate, and the case and the wired will finish first. Maybe this week or next week.
It looks like the cases are slowly getting ready for shipping so you should be expecting shipping invoices soon.

I would say the BT pcb being both usb and BT is an improvement. Does that mean it will utilize a rechargeable battery now?
I’m very sorry for the delay of the group buy, and the case is almost finish and still waiting some little things such paper package box, acrylic backplate and so on.
So I got another mail from Victor with the status of keyboard and PCB production. It is attached in the picture below, so apart from the BT PCB everything is ready or on the way.
I also attached two pictures of the BT PCB, which appears to be in the 3rd test version, so hopefully it will be finished soon.
Victor did not give me any specific dates for which I asked, so I asked for them again. I hope that he will send me date estimates in the next few days. I actually don't know how much time it will take for the keyboards to be packaged and shipped but I don't believe we will receive any of them before Christmas.

Hello everyone,
Some time ago, I was inconvenient to visit geekhack.org, and I apologize for this. Now I back to my home city, and it could be visit.
Go back to the topic of TR60,last week jakl helped me upload the check list to the community. @Jakl ,thank you very much.
is the TR60 PCB added to QMK already?Looking at the QMK repo, not yet.
Are we supposed to send the money for shipping and calculate it on own own? Or are we going to get an email saying how much it will be??????????????????
The shipping fee detail list for everyone is being prepared, I will send it to you later.
Everybody order is different, and the weight of the package is different, so please give some time to sort the excel list.
Did ya'll get the email?
The tao-bao think is so confusing to me. Did anybody use that method?

I'll probably be using that method, though I'm awaiting Victor's response (or changing of the shipping fee if I'm on the right page).
I'll update back if I successfully manage to pay for shipping via "method B".
Received mine about 12 hours ago (am in Singapore so I'm not too surprised, but still), and just finished building/programming it.
I'm quite happy with how it looks and feels, but I might try putting some foam inside the case since the Outemu Ice Greys I'm using sound really hollow.
Though, there was one glaring caveat when I was building my TR60 with a DZ60 PCB - the stab cutouts in the bottom of the 4mm thick plate only supports stabs with the wires south of the stab (there's a small channel the wire sits in), and the ANSI Enter key has the stab wire north of the stab, so I had to file out a bit of the bottom of the case to get the DZ60 to work. No biggie, but I had to spend a while troubleshooting it. If you ordered one of the PCBs that Trianglelabs was selling in this GB I wouldn't worry about it.
Otherwise I'm really enjoying the TR60.
Why is it so complicated to pay a shipping invoice :( I've emailed them and have gotten no response.
Ok, I'm out of the GB. I'm sad and happy at the same time.
I paid for my TR60 at 10 July 2018 where a lead time was 75 days (let say 3 months even due to some delays, bank holidays and so on) - so the stuff should be on my desk from Nov 2018.
PP's buyer protection expired at 6/7 of Jan 2019 due to some shady messages, lack of communication, I decided to create a case for a refund.
Victor answered to PP 4/5 days later and today I got the refund.

Do you have any other cases to which you can compare the TR60?

Sorry for it. The post company has not give the final excel document. Maybe 20190128-0129 I could get it----package had gave to them 3 days ago. I guess maybe because of the weekend holiday they did not working. If I get the document I will sent the code to you as quickly as possible.

i think you have a short in the pcb for that spot. does it still happen if you take out the switch?
as a workaround can you disable that spot in your keymap so it ignores the input?
I tried creating a simple keymap using the qmk branch but it seems that topmost left and right keys are inverted.Yup, I had the same issue. You can either swap those keys in the keymap you create, or (better), swap the keys in the c header file. I fixed it locally, but didn't have time then to see if it was possible to commit the change. Hopefully Triangle Lab can fix that and submit the pull request to the official qmk repo so that the simpler qmk configurator and qmk toolbox can be used for flashing.
Is anyone else having this issue? For now as a workaround, I switched the mapping for both keys.

Anybody an idea which stabs I need for the hkkb version?
Thanks for you quick reply and sorry for my slow one :)
Another question. Does anybody have some info on the led on the escape key? I see I can toggle it with fn+d, but I'm not sure what it's doing. Can I also change it through QMK?

It's been a while since you posted this and if I remember correctly the holidays are already over. Any progress on the BT PCB or you haven't sent it to the factory yet?
Do you have any estimates when will it be finished?
Also wondering if the web configurator for the BT PCB which you sent me is final or will there be any updates for this board particularly.

Nice !I tried but gave up. The firmware is too primitive when you're used to qmk/tmk.
I was hoping to find someone who setup the mickey board pcb ... the instructions look frightening
Try this: https://github.com/fox-lab/qmk_firmware/tree/master/keyboards/tr60w
I guess nobody ever submitted a pr for that. If you clean up the code (there's an issue with esc and backspace being swapped), they might accept it.
