So we can't just buy one keyboard?
Is this for distributors only??

For iGK61, iGK61p and iGK62, whether you choose plastic or metal case, the positioning plate is printed white.
For iGK64, whether you choose plastic or metal case, the positioning plate is anodized silver.
I'll ask here since the IC was locked:QuoteFor iGK61, iGK61p and iGK62, whether you choose plastic or metal case, the positioning plate is printed white.

Not sure what plastic it is on the 61 version? but it is possible to have an alu option since it is a standard ansi and any 60% alu will work
The 61 and 61p has the holes to support standard 60% cases standoffs, like the GH60 or XD60? Am i right? (seems like yes from the pics but would like a confirmation)
Im interested in the optical IGK61p, could you tell us which orientation the switches are facing? Is the switch logo upside down or level? I'm asking this because I usually use cherry profile keycaps.Im interested in the optical IGK61p, could you tell us which orientation the switches are facing? Is the switch logo upside down or level? Also, since it's optical and 1000hz, the latency should be pretty low right?

The plate for 61 and 62 are all steel ( Not plastic) with sprayed white paint. It looks quite good.
Our PCB is with USB type C connector, but on the marketing nearly all the 60% PCB is not with type C connector, so maybe our PCB can't fit the standard 60% case perfectly.
Ok awesome. One more question are these optical switches compatible with zealencios? (that is the silencing clips you put over the switch to dampen sound)
And could you do the trampoline mod to dampen the bottom out or is it different inside since it's optical?MoreShow Image(https://geekhack.org/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=50632.0;attach=42996;image)Show Image(https://geekhack.org/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=50632.0;attach=42998;image)

For the trampoline mode i'm pretty sure you can't, mainly because there should be 2 holes where you put the silicone part.
No problemo, just is it this kind? http://www.gateron.com/supply/21.html
Wow. 60%, pcb-mount, full RGB, hot-swappable and programmable. Pretty sweet deal.
What program do we use for programming our own layout though?

Thanks for the update! Pretty sure typhoons are a good reason to stay at home. Hope everyone is safe and no one had significant property damage. Wishing you all the best.
I'm looking forward to getting this board to check out the quality. I hope to make this my test board for all new MX switches that come out. I've got 5 bags of switches to try out already :)
Got mine today too! First impression that seems like a nice board especially at that price! I got mine preassembled with the plastic case surprisingly no flex at all and it has some cool angles and a subtle mix of glossy parts just enough to make it lok interesting (goes perfect with my G Pro mouse too). The RGB glows nicely with the white plate. I'm not disapointed, many thanks, appreciated the professionalism. ;)

Quick question, is it programmable or not? If so where are the instructions or software?
Got mine yesterday. I got the iGK61 with metal case, and so far I'm impressed. I'm running linux, though, and can't get the driver software to run under wine. Does the driver software need to be running all the time, or just when you want to change something? And does anybody know if there are key combinations that let you change the behavior of the board without the driver software running? I stumbled on some: like Fn+w seems to put you into a different layer where the arrow keys are on.
Switches pop in easily, and the PCB accepts PCB-mount or plate-mount switches. LEDs are indeed vivid as the previous poster said. I have zealios on, though, which have a clear housing. You probably would not get as much light through with an opaque housing. I probably will turn them off though as I'm not partial to LEDs - mostly bought this sucker for the hot-swap capability.
EDIT: Duh, the key combinations are in the technical specifications document linked in the first post above. You can't change the mapping without the software, but it looks from the docs like you only have to change it once and then don't need the driver software to be running after that for your custom layout to be active.

Yes, you can edit the "offline" modes in the software and they will still work without the app running in the background. However, you can't really program anything as far as I can tell. The product said fully programmable, but I think the proper terminology would have been fully re-mappable. You cannot change those built in function mappings, and you cannot add more. You can make it so that pressing a key sends a different keystroke or macro, but I honestly fail to see the usefulness of such functionality.
I think most people use custom function layers and not custom layers. You can program a layer to do what you want like page up, page down, arrow cluster, media controls... but you have to actually be ON that layer to use it. This requires hitting the Fn key and the layer (q=1, w=2, e=3, r=4). Once on that layer you can then use the newly programmed key.
So, if i wanted to use media keys on (W,A,S,D) and still be able to type, I would hop over to layer 2 and remap those keys to play/pause, vol+, vol-, etc...
If I wanted to turn the volume down, I would have to press Function+w and then press my keybind for vol- and then press Function+q to return to the main layer. No one would ever do this. It's silly. You would expect that you could program it so that pressing Fn + S could turn the volume down. Or that Function + H could be home. No such luck.
There are a few options like this in their default Function layers that aren't too bad, but no media keys.
I just programmed everything with autohotkey so that it worked like all of my other boards. I'm a happy camper and the zealios feel great.

thx! Unfortunately it does not seem possible to rebind FN.
It bother me a little bit not having this option since I usually prefer having FN in place of cap lock and the arrows on wasd, stuff like that for one-handed ease of use.
I hope eventually the software will allow for that in the future.
Or did I just not see how to do it? :)
Hello,
Thank you very much for all of you feedback.
Regarding "Fn key":
"Fn" combined keys are not programmable on our keyboard now. We will study and assess it. It needs to change the firmware of the keyboard. If we realized this function, our users may update their keyboards' firmware. We will try to realize this function, but we can't declare a schedule timeline for it yet.

Thanks! Yes a firmware update to allow Fn + key programming would be an immense improvement. Really like my board. It is very nice to have the hot swap and I enjoy the rgb leds.
I believe this is the Chinese site for these boards. If anyone can translate well, there seems to be a community forum. Probably a good place to ask around.

Glad this project went off smoothly and they all seem like good keyboards. If they can manage to make them truly programmable, it would be fantastic. Hopefully ingeniousmonkey has some cunning codemonkeys working on this.

Hello, according to the feedback from the community, we are doing this working: at the "W" "E" "R" 3 programmable layers, "Fn" combined keys can be programmable. After finished this working, we will release update firmware and software.
Excuse me, "some cunning codemonkeys working on this"? I am not very clearly about what you mean. Would you please explain it more details? If possible, we'd like to realize some special functions to fit some special person's or some special job's needs. Thank you.

Sorry, just my attempt at humour. Someone who writes code (programmers) are sometimes referred to as a 'code monkey'.

Received my iGK64, and like the rest of you was disappointed to see that the iGK does not support remapping of the Fn key, and also does not support any kind of function layer - only remapping and macro programming.
I'm on Windows so I'll be trying TouchCursor to achieve what I want, but i really wanted this to work at the keyboard level.
ingeniousmonkey, I look forward to firmware and driver updates
Left the same comment on Reddit, but I just wanted to let people know that this is a very good value keyboard. Especially with the new firmware update. I liked mine so much that I just ordered an aluminum case for it. Although the plastic case is quite nice for $5.
Hi guys! Just want to ask if the led are smd? I want to put on kailh box switches but it only supports smd led.
Or any other options/suggestions for me. TIA ;D
Edit: My question is, if i swap in a kailh box switch i wont have any problem with the rgb lighting of the kit?
Also im from Philippines, which i think epacket still does not support shipping, what courier will shoulder my order if i choose the economic shipping.

Yep, I have box blacks in mine right now. Light looks good.

Thanks but it doesnt work.
And I dont understnand is FN the same as a offline profile?
Does the igk62 have the 2u Lshift or 2.25u LShift?
I can't seem to find an option for the igk62 with the optical switch in Silver. No drop down choice? Was trying to do a pcb + plate + cnc case green + usb cable and a silver optical switch.
Still on schedule for shipment? Looking forward to receiving my kit!
Awesome work you guys! I would say that apart from the service you provide, some more tweaking for the software so it can be up there with QMK is a goal to makeStill on schedule for shipment? Looking forward to receiving my kit!
All orders' shipment of round 3 GB has completed, you will receive your tracking number in 1~2 days.
Hello, please leave message on our website, tell us your problem details, thus we can give you some help.
Why is there no way to rebind FN (or anything) on the base layer? On the Fn1 layer you can't use the dynamic light modes or change light mode you're stuck with a single one
Profiles and layers should be two different things, otherwise cant press FN without changing the light mode every single time, cant have dynamic lights on custom FN1, FN2 and only a single one, also probably less bugs.QuoteHello, please leave message on our website, tell us your problem details, thus we can give you some help.
I did. No answer after a couple weeks. I'm soon giving up on this board. I was considering getting a replacement PCB and metal case and more switches but not anymore I mean it's nice to have added the feature we asked but (at least for me) it doesnt work at all, yes nobody else commented maybe it's just me but who knows maybe it's because the other who also wanted FN rebind already moved on.

Hello, we are in our Chinese New Year vacation now
yeah the fn layer remap is actually terrible
With new keycaps I notice the color wave is actually just a few key blobs cycling color at different intervals (7 blobs, same for windmill btw)
Hello, we are in our Chinese New Year vacation now
my bad forgot about that but do you know why I get "applying failed!" all the time?Quoteyeah the fn layer remap is actually terrible
if you want a truely programmable board better look somewhere else
because
- Q, E, R or F (taken for profiles) light up white and can't remap them
- the light mode changes
- applying changes is bugged
Possible way to fix:
- make base layer customizable and FN layers not change light mode when activated,
- fix "apply fail!" and FnX bug
other than that great service and board
is the IGK68 compatible with any other cases besides the new 2018 case?
Interesting new items. Does the 61key Bluetooth board also have some RGB lights underneath to provide underglow on the polycarbonate case? I think it said the 64 did but I can’t find it mentioned on the 61.
I want to purchase a polycarbonate case, fiberglass plate (with gateron stabilizers) and Bluetooth 61key pcb. I don’t see that option as a package anywhere. Do I just buy them individually?
Just went and ordered one of the new barebones kits, this is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for to get started on my first build. ;D

Pretty nice boards. The software isn't perfect, but it does the job. Really a good value, overall.
