[FS/WTB] Vintage Blacks - Cherry Plate Stabs - Black Springs
« on: Wed, 30 January 2013, 09:52:20 »
I AM LOCKING THIS THREAD AND STARTING A NEW ONE

I am located in the U.S.

Rules:

I DO NOT accept PayPal Gift payments.

US Paypal fee is 3% + $0.30

International Paypal fee is 4% + $0.30

PM me your PayPal address and I will invoice you

Prices below DO NOT include shipping or PayPal fee

Things For Sale:

  • Vintage MX Blacks - $0.30 ea -- 120 Sold -- 70 pending 70 AVAILABLE AGAIN
These are from well used WYSE terminal boards. Some legs may need to be straightened.

Things For Trade:

  • WTT MY Klaxon WoR Mods for YOUR RoW Mods
  • WTT MY Klaxon WoR tsangan for YOUR RoW tsangan

Things I want:

  • WYSE tsangan kit from the Quarzac group buy
  • ~65 MX Greys (tactile) or MX Clears (PCB or Plate doesn't matter)
  • 65g springs
  • Switch stickers

Sold or Removed:
  • WYSE WY85 Keycaps $30.00 $20 per set 8 SOLD - ALL SOLD
  • 87 Cherry MX Brown switches (Plate Mount): $35.00 $30.00 SOLD
  • Vintage Cherry MX Black switches: $0.30 each 977 Sold, 0 Remaining ALL SOLD
  • Modern Cherry MX Black Switches: $0.25 each 100 Sold, 0 Remaining ALL SOLD, decided to keep some
  • Cherry Plate Mount Stabilizers (Spacebar is PCB Mount): $5.00 per set 13 sold, 0 Remaining ALL SOLD
  • Vortex Black PBT (OEM Profile) with Black dye-sub legends $37.00 SOLD

  • RA2.0 Modifiers $18 SOLD
  • Rosewill RK-900RE with Vintage MX Blacks - $40 + shipping and PP (CONUS only for this item) SOLD
This keyboard really hasn't been used much. I like it but don't need/use it. The Vintage blacks were from a new in box unused terminal board. It was mostly just a fun project for me to build it. I got the keyboard itself cheaply so I am trying to pass that along and mainly selling it for the switches and stabilizers.

  • 87 x Vintage Black Springs - $9.00 SOLD
These were pulled from some like new vintage blacks. Bronze colored

  • Cherry Plate Mount Stabilizers - $5.00 per set of 5 -- 2 Sets Available ALL PENDING
These are also from old WYSE terminal boards. Each stabilizer has a 2x wire. DOES NOT INCLUDE SPACE BAR WIRE

If you need to see a pic of anything I had posted up here previously, just ask and I can provide. I have taken down pics of sold items to reduce clutter. Thanks

I will sell the switches for $0.30 each. So... Somewhere in the neighborhood of the equivalent value of your tools, I can't remember what you charged for them plus some extra for the rarity premium since your tools are not currently available... How many do you need?

See changes in the OP:

Added Cherry Stabilizer sets $5.00 each SOLD

Lowered price on WYSE key cap sets from $30 to $20 per set. I'm hoping that's a more realistic price.

Or maybe everybody spent their key cap monies on Klaxon like me, haha.

Each set has  Five (5) 2x PLATE mount stabs and One (1) 10x PCB mount stab for a total of Six (6) stabilizers per set

I should have listed these with everything else sooner and I just forgot about them. Oops. Should be able to ship them cheaply though

So the spacebars won't fit a Filco correct?

What spacebar are you referring to? If you are talking about the Vortex keys, the spacebar is standard 6.25 and should fit a Filco as far as I know. It fit fine on a QFR

If you are talking about the stabilizer sets, the spacebar wire is indeed too long and would need to be cut down and bent to fit. I have read of plenty of people doing this with old wyse spacebar wires. I was planning on doing this for my phantom to get a 7x wire.

Someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong

 Thanks much,

Yes, all of the caps from the donor board are included. The pics were intended to show all of the caps. I was trying to show which ones fit standard key positions and which ones do not. That's why they are split into 2 pics. Which keys did I miss in the pics?

Yes, the legends are blue. It's the standard blue legends on light gray/dark gray WYSE color scheme.
