Hey yuiop do you think you could get a couple more pictures of the full build but with the whole case in view? It is a bit hard to get the full picture with half the case missing from view.

Some pics from 2nd round of prototyping

red aluminum top (86 key) + polycarb plate + polycarb bottom

black aluminum top + stainless steel plate + black polycarb bottom

There have been some delays/setbacks with the PCB which is still in development stage.
As of right now its the only thing keeping this from going live.
Hopefully we have some good news soon.

Absolutely in love with the black polycarb bottom. Any chance you get get us a pick of that red top on the black base?

Any idea how well the black poly carb does with lighting?

You mean the aluminum bottom?  Probably not.
Black polycarb bottom won't let much light through so you might want to consider that.

Yuiop, a question. What kind of finish does the poly carb bottom have? Is it smooth or is it sort of matte?

Not a problem at all! Alu bottom will be amazing even without RGB! How much more would it cost? (1.5x more or something like previously mentioned for the Black polycarbonate prototype?)

My toilet overflowed!!!!

I will definitely not mind paying extra for an aluminum bottom as the total price is already so low!

Will the aluminum top and bottom connect seamlessly? As in connect with no bumps etc?
The polycarbonate layer connects to the aluminum top with a lip/bump/edge popping out and I don't really like that.

I basically need a KMAC :DDD

I see, thank you very much kin for explaining about the different size. I'm guessing since aluminum bottoms won't give out light LED spreading (obviously), you're going to think and design up another bottom design? If so, take your time :) I look back at it and I don't really mind the different size, I'm just glad an aluminum bottom is becoming available for us!

Seems like the PCB is still a bit delayed, nothing you or us can do to change it but wait.
Thank you again kin!
