Your space bar seems to be fake. 0/10, would not hit.

I am torn. I would like to play an order for HHKB key caps this weekend. I have a black HHKB and I am torn between printed white-grey or blanks white-grey. Show me more photos of printed white-grey on the black HHKB please!!

Go for White and grey blanks! (No pictures just pure a unadulterated opinion.)

My opinions:
1.  HHKB cap legends look pretty great overall.  They look best with Black on Black.
2.  With legends looks more elegant and classic, whereas with blanks looks more modern and clean, but may also give a little bit of a cheap/toylike impression.
3.  If you get bored of the blanks, you can dye them, and I'm guessing they'll probably look a lot better than dyeing caps with legends?

What I did was go through this thread and save all the pictures to my PC.  Then I flipped through them a lot.  I decided to get blanks. :)

Awww... that's sad. I am not sure why they don't do that. Make it such a chore to pack/unpack and to move around. And I have always wonder why they have that big 'bezel' just on top of the function row. It's not like they serve any other purpose. Realforce does not know how to make pretty keyboard.

Yeah, that bezel is what kept me from getting a RealForce keyboard.

Thanks for the photo. There are a lot of electronics in there! But then, how did HHKB and Leopold 660C hide those electronics since they have thin bezel? I think RF is just plain lazy or taking the easy way out instead of re-engineering the PCB board......  :p

The HHKB and Leopold have the controller on a daughter card where the Realforce's have a single pcb. Also the Realforce has one of the lowest profile's available.

Correct! These are from the Variable Silent 87U. I swapped domes with a 55G 87U. The caps have no extra legends on the sides, they are from a 104U. Also I lubed the Slider housings with Krytox.

Feels perfect.

Its a tough choice.. I really do love both! Its up to you, decide which one youd rather want more if they run out and dont order more. But if they dont run out then you can always buy the other set down the road. :) Or you could take your chances at Classifieds as well in the future for the other set.  :thumb:

Please, someone, post photos of HHKB black case with printed white grey. The HHKB printed caps has all the additional side legends which made it very complex.

I gotta make decision this weekend as I'm ordering from Japan to be shipped to a visiting friend. The thing cost us$45 so maybe I can really get two but I have just spent a fortune on the black RF 55g - so I can only get one or the other. Likely I'll go with blanks but oh I'm so indecisive!
