I dyed a function key on my house hhkb, it turned out OK and the color is boss. I borrowed my girlfriend's camera and attempted to take some glamour shots.

Thanks guys.

I used ordinary cheap spray paint from my local store. What I did was finish off both the paint and the enamel by holding the can about 1 meter from the case and veeery gently pressed while spraying so it comes small drops instead of fine spray so it would get a more "flaky" texture.

FC660C is such a great feeling board! I love the feel of the topre switches on it.. I regret selling mine, but wasn't a big fan of the layout. Just need a plate-mounted board in the hhkb design.  ;)

Well the feel is quite different to the hhkb feel. I also prefer the feel of the hhkb switches, but definitely wouldn't mind having a 660c around to bring out once in a while!

Yea! I'm super impressed with it! I wasn't the biggest fan of HHKB personally, but I think that's partially because I use arrows quite often though. I'm really loving the 65% layout! and I like that it feels a bit heavier than the HHKB as well.

Yea! I'm super impressed with it! I wasn't the biggest fan of HHKB personally, but I think that's partially because I use arrows quite often though. I'm really loving the 65% layout! and I like that it feels a bit heavier than the HHKB as well.


That purple looks good on a white FC660C. Your keycaps look straighter then mine.

I like mine a lot. Just have to lube the stabilizers eventually.

Well the feel is quite different to the hhkb feel. I also prefer the feel of the hhkb switches, but definitely wouldn't mind having a 660c around to bring out once in a while!


Nah, I have all the main topre boards and I love the FC660C too. I'm going to mod my 2014 though. Silencing + lub, got all the stuff needed to do that from EK this week. My gen 1 FC660C will get the same treatment at some point but I just love how it sound these days (dirt smoothed :p ). Because silenced topre is SO SEXY (yeah my daily driver these days is a HHKB Type-S)

 :p The 45g dental banded sounds perfect and feels perfect. I love the darker grey shade on the alphas and mods. Havent seen either shade of grey on any other board.

Plagued Purple and Blood Orange are honestly the best colors Ive ever had, perfect shades.  :thumb:
