Another option is to Change to KAT PBT and then you can do separate alpha kits and mod kits for the different fonts. People can mix and match then. Everybody wins

I just got done with 26 KAT Kits and I'd quite like to keep at least the blacklight portion of this in the cherry profile. In my opinion KAT / Cherry aren't really interchangable profiles.

I believe ePBT is able to split up kits? Kuro Shiro allowed you to buy alphas separate from the mods but I知 not sure how they do it actually! Might be worth exploring?

I知 a big fan of the colorway and less so of fraktur, so I壇 prefer being able to pick out the appropriate kits as well!

I vote 2/3... but if the above is possible then everyone wins!

I vote 1.

Maybe a poll or google form might be a better way of doing this?

My vote is for 2/3

I prefer the default cherry font but seeing the quick render of Franktur with matching mods I may be enticed to buy both... either way I think having the sets split up is the way to go rather than the "in between" you have now.

As others mentioned if ePbt can run sets with mods and alphas split up at reasonable pricing that seems like a great solution.

Keep up the great work on this!

I am a cherry font person myself, but I think the dual kit option where each is pure is the way to go.

I might be doing something wrong, but the form doesn't allow for multiple answers to the which kits I'd be interested in buying.

I vote for option 1.  A question too: is that colour palette actually black-light reactive?  It would be awesome to see some samples of that!

Perhaps use N instead of Nulla for the Latin numerals 0 legend? This use of N for 0 does have some historical backing, according to Wikipedia.

I would love a well done set in Fraktur, but with more appropriate colors… the WoB or some other semi-neutral direction would be ideal. Novelties could be amazing… thinking of illumination elements.

So then, seems i'm at a bit of an impasse. I agree wholeheartedly that Cherry Mods + Fraktur look jank. It was a poor attempt at a solution. I also take on bored the critisicism that Fraktur/Blackletter and Blacklights aren't associated each other futher than my fascination with both. That being said here is my preposal and I'd love if you could comment and let me know what you think so I can get a better idea of how to move forward.

Option 1)Stick with the theme and pallet, lean heavier into the blackletter dropping all Cherry legends and mods entierly
Option 2)Split the 2 ideas into two sets one Blacklight using cherry style Type/Icons with this pallet and theme, one "Blackletter" a compleately new set based on Fraktur leaning heavily into the history and Blackletter type.
I have put together a very quick mock up of what these might look like:
(Attachment Link)
1- Current pallet, Fraktur everything 2- Current pallet, Cherry everything 3- New Blackletter themed set (probably wont be WoB)

So i guess the choice is Between either 1 or 2/3 together

Hope you all have an amazing weekend, please let me know what you think.
Stay safe

Liam

I vote for 2. Cherry 🙏

-1.  I was a fraktur fan.  I still like the colours, but without fraktur, it ends up looking too similar to Miami Nights.  I'd be dropping out in the current iteration.

Oh sweet!  I missed that bit!  Will it be structured in a way like KAT sets, with the type of alphas being modular?

The row numbering is messed up in one of the pics. Row 4 is bottom (and Row 1 is top) in one, Row 1 is bottom (and row 4 is top) the other.

Regardless, would love to see a 1u option for the "A" row (Row 3?) in the ortho kit that isn't Tab or Esc. If there's a novelty that can go there, that's fine. Just can't tell with the current row numbering discrepancy if there's a 1u novelty for that row.

Must be in an odd boat compared to everyone else:

I was for Option 1 and have zero interest in 2/3, in its current form I've lost any interest in the set. My initial interest was also that Fraktur was being used with interesting colours, a Fraktur set in something "boring" like WoB or similar isn't something I'd be keen on.

I'd go one further than alphabirth and say I'm not interested in this iteration or any going forward that use Fraktur if it doesn't pop like this originally did.

I suggest changing out the Win key for System/Super/Code, and the Menu key for System/Super/Code too :thumb:

Double 1u Ctrl isn't necessary; one of them can be safely removed, or moved to the add-on kit for ortho support.

Consider using R3 \|, R4 <> for basic ISO support in the base kit, and keeping all of the UK keys grouped together in the add-on kit. See how Tidal did it. More on this topic here.
In short: move R3 #~, R4 \| from base to add-on, move R3 \| from add-on to base, add R4 <> to base.

Not sure how useful a R2 num = key is. R1, sure, but R2 — dunno, you might want to remove that.

Is that accent legend color seen on Esc and Enter the same as the alphas legend color?
