What is the difference between this one and the one made my IBM?

Hopefully no one else on eBay realises its an SSK and the bids don't get run up (the naming of the listing is pretty bad for attracting attention). Someone might be able to grab a cheap SSK

Is the year on it 94?

In case you didn't notice, this is posted in "member auction links" so this is actually OP's item that he's trying to sell.

OP just give it to me for $50 =)

I wouldn't count on that.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Never seen a Lexmark branded SSK before. I'd love to have this to go along with my full sized Lexmark branded Model M, but I think I'll have to leave this one to someone else. :P

I honestly have no idea. The only one I found, sold in 2011 for $180. I'm hoping for something close to that.

I actually think there is something really cool about the Lexmark branding.

If I wasn't in a personal recession I would consider having a bid and I would probably set my max to about $200, I wouldn't be surprised if you get what your looking although there is that guy releasing that steady supply of SSK's so I don't know if that would have a negative impact on your final sale price.

If I make 100 I'll be happy. I'm not looking for a massive payday. I'll be super happy if I can get 200 though.

Too bad somebody has a bid on it.

In the future, if you have a "wish for" price, just list it at that, Buy-It-Now. Drop the price by $10 every 3 days until it sells. You will probably get just as much money, maybe more, and get it quicker.

Some people like the thrill of an auction, but personally, I will pay more for a "sure thing"
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

Meh, auctions only get fun when they are live.  In a live auction the best tactic I have found is a very large bump early tends to knock a lot of people out quick.  Much different than an eBay auction with internal and external bidding services.

For anyone here who was interested, I have another in much better shape. I'm still on the fence of keeping it, or selling it. If I do sell it, it will be here.

Good idea. No eBay fees, and deal with enthusiasts who know the value and won't try to short change you. :)

You hit it on the head. I auctioned this one, to get a value on it. I tried the "what its worth" thread, but didn't get any help.
