Are there already prices for the sets? Amazing set, would surely join in.
Prices are coming soon, I'm waiting on GMK to reply :)
Aight, thanks. Time to prepare!

No numpad, no thank you. Theme and colors look good otherwise.

I don't think there will be enough interest for the MOQ for numpad. I may include an option for numpad interest in the final IC form, though, and people can vote on it.

I can't think of any recent group buys where the numpad didn't hit MOQ. It would at least be worth it to see how much one would cost.

+1 for a numpad kit

Also, will you be doing a separate icon modifier kit? Or consider doing the icon esc in the base kit?

Because of the way the kits are structured, I don't think I could add a modifier kit because there are two separate mod colors I would have to cover, and that would probably end up with a more expensive icon mod kit or two separate icon mod kits with different colors that don't hit MOQ.

Out of curiosity, why an Umbreon theme kit first? Why not pachirisu your namesake? Also GMK garchomp when?

Haha, Pachriksu is actually a malapropism for my full name (Patrick). I chose to do Umbra first because that's the first thing I thought of and Umbreon has some nice colors. I'll have to hold off on Pokemon themed sets after this one though, at least that's what I decided. I don't want to get pounded by Nintendo. This set was only slightly based off the Pokemon's colors and has a different name. If I start doing things like using actual names and designs for the set and related then I can assure myself that it won't end up well. :(

I love Umbreon but feel like the set doesn’t really fit without glow in the dark alphas...

They can be done, GMK mizu and terra both have a glow in the dark novelty.

Thank you! If anyone has any suggestions to reduce the prices of the kits by moving or removing keys without affecting MOQ, I’ll gladly take them into consideration. I’m already working on prices to see if they can be lowered more, especially Hiragana and Numpad.

I first want to say, I'm not going in on the set so take what I say at face value.
For the numpad, I think you could probably save by putting the blue mods into the shiny kit. My logic: Numpad users will get the base kit, but may not get the shiny kit. They're stuck paying more for mods they might not/probably won't use. If numpad users DO get the shiny kit, well, they already have the base numpad kit and now the matching shiny.

That’s definitely something I’m considering if it doesn’t affect shiny kit price too much.

This is looking very good. I'm a bit worried about some pricing and the number of kits you have though. If you haven't used up all of your GMK quotes yet, I'd suggest consolidating some of the kits - which would mean removing some things. This might seem drastic, but perhaps take out base mods and replace with shiny mods? Also while you are at it, put numpad back in base kit. Keep the 4, 1u ortho keys in of course, because I love ortho.

Would like to see this successful, that is all. Hope this constructive criticism is helpful. Good luck  :thumb:

So your telling me it's going to cost me $275 if I want to run the set with hiragana alphas and a numpad... GMK Vaporwave had Hiragana alphas and a numpad in the base kit and that price was only $187. Something seems off about the prices for the kits, they are extremely high.

I’m working on the prices, and trying to reorganize the kits more efficiently.

I wonder if it would be worth putting in the effort to make it so if someone gets the shiny mods and hiragana alphas it is possible to cover a board like if it were a base kit (with alpha colored spacebars not mod colored). Meaning people aren't spending upward of $300 to get a bunch of stuff they will not be using (the base kit is basically unused except alpha colored spacebars, the alpha colored function keys and a few misc caps, so $130 for 10ish caps... and you can't sell the remainder as it wouldn't be able to cover a board anymore). Plus if that person were to also get a numpad it would be $390...not something many are willing to spend (including me).

Phew, 115$ for an Alphas kit and 130 for a numpad-less base kit all seem way higher than standard. I would definitely try reworking the kits, to stay competitive. There are so many more reasonably priced sets every month that I think it may be hard to get a lot of buyers for this one at these prices. Just my .02

It might be worth seeing what the price is to combine shiny + hiragana and just run with two bases?

Good luck, hope you get it figured out - set looks great.

I like the idea of this set very much as an Umbreon lover. The shiny RAMA cap looks amazing, and even if I don't get anything else, I may just get that. I personally don't see myself wanting to buy a base kit and then a shiny kit just to get what I want as that would be $210. I would like the option for the shiny kit + the original alphas to be on it's own but that may affect MOQ since there may 2 different base kits or a vote for which one people prefer as the main kit would be better.

I thought, "that's a great idea!"... until I remembered MOQ  :blank: (I highly doubt I'll reach 250 for both base kits.)

Really glad to see the mods being sold separately.

As a Colevrak user the alphas don't work for me, but with separate mods I can hopefully mix and match it with other sets that support Colevrak like Oblivion or something else :)

Hey, was wondering if the Shiny Kit was 188 AUD as it'd make it more expensive than Base Kit.

Thanks!

Love the shiny kit, but confused why it's virtually the same price as the base kit which has a heap more keys....

I believe the pricing got even worse for those who want the base kit and the shiny kit as it's not 245 USD versus the 210 before. I don't know what else changed but definitely going to have to pass on this set now.

I actually believe 2 base sets would do better than what you currently have. Look at all the GMK sets that have run lately. Not a single one was in trouble of making MOQ with the exception of a few add-on kits.

Here is the thing. You have other competition for base sets besides what just in this GB. There will be many other GMK sets whatever month this runs so if buyers can't get covered for a decent price they will just look to other GMK sets that have better base sets.

For $15 you could add alphas into the shiny kit and yes you may loose a few sales out of your base kit, but at the same time you will also gain sales for people who were on the fence of buying both kits for $245 and only covering one board but for $260 they get two sets to cover two boards...

You could always run a survey to get the exact feedback your looking for...

Would have a much lower MOQ I would imagine. If the base is priced at 250/500 and the shiny is priced at 50 or 100, then the prices will not be a direct apples to apples comparison.

Loving the updated set. Espeially the complete ISO UK inclusion. Any chance of a Iron165 Plum SE render? I'd love to see how umbra contrasts the plum colour.

Wish the spacebars kit had blue space bars, it seems a little odd to have the mod color ones over that. But otherwise, I really like this set!
