Switch and Keycap Questions
« on: Thu, 10 August 2023, 12:33:46 »
I have had an SK61 keyboard for a while, but multiple spills mean that it has some keys which when I press down stick to where they are or are greatly slowed. I have tried cleaning the key caps and switches with wet wipes but the stickiness keeps coming back. Is there any other cleaning I could try?

The stickiness is probably coming from inside the switch. If you want to clean your switches, you will have to take them out of the board, open them and clean each part of the switch individually.

If this is what you've already done then don't use wet wipes, use water and a bit of dish soap on each part then rinse them and let them completely dry before reassembling.
