Keycap profile specifications

(1/1)

erit:
I'm trying to model some custom keycaps and it's been difficult to find information about how a keycap profile is defined.
This interesting keycap ruler was a good start. It defines 1u as 18mm.

Signature Plastics has some resources with an overview of the various profiles: https://www.solutionsinplastic.com/keycap-manufacturing/
However it is lacking information needed for a model like the curvature of the SA profile and slope of the key sides.

I cannot seem to find much about the ASA or MT3 profiles. It's also difficult to find information even for the common Cherry and OEM profiles. There are 3d printing models for keycaps available in various places but I don't know how accurate they are.

Are there specifications for keycap profiles available somewhere?
