Can't make up my mind about this set or not! I'm trying to avoid GMK, but it's so tempting...

Gotta say the Hibi cap is a bit of a swing and a miss for me. The hand looks awkward, mainly because you can see four fingers, when typically one finger is hidden behind the pen(cil).

THAT'S what it is. I have been wondering why this looks so awkward and wrong to me. Thanks for pointing this out!

If you have any interest in the set, please consider purchasing early! The more numbers we have early means the more confidence everyone has near the tail end of the group buy. I'm still optimistic that we will make MOQ at the end of the group buy, so don't miss your chance because this set is definitely a one and done gb!

Hey everyone!

As has been said, unfortunately GMK Handarbeige has been cancelled due to a lack of sales figures. I have learned a lot of lessons about running a GMK group buy from this experience, and while I don't think it would happen for a while, I still have interest in making this set happen one day. I understand that the asking price was on the higher side, which might have scared off a few people, so that is something I will take into consideration in the future.

I want to personally thank everyone who has been involved in the almost year long process this has been, I have been stunned by the support from those in the community. I also want to apologize for everyone who wanted to see this set make its way on to their boards, but to you I humbly ask for your patience for the future.

For those who were particularly interested in the relegendables, GMK Relegendables will be up and running soon, and whilst you'll miss out on the colourful front prints, there are still excellent options on offer.

A final note: GMK Handarbeit failed to make its MOQ on its first run, but persistence made it happen. I'd like to think that cancellation is a rite of passage, and hope that one day, we will see GMK Handarbeige+ return to your favourite vendors.

Very sad to hear this.. my sympathies and well wishes to guypigeotto.

I had placed an order for the set + relegendables after almost a year of waiting since IC.

Just my two cents:

- The price is in line with other current GMK sets that are running (especially given the large base)
- Where did all the beige lovers go?
- This set, to me, is a better use of colors on beige, especially compared to all the red cyrilic sublegends that are popular these days

Surprised to see this cancelled. While sales numbers that were shared weren't great, hitting MOQ with extras didn't seem like a stretch either.

I don't know if it would have helped, but I would have liked to have known ahead of time if the it looks like a kit will get cancelled. I was holding back on purchasing the set because i was still deciding on kitting.

I hope there is opportunity for it to be run again. Maybe a little bit more marketing push would have helped.

This was pretty much the warning that you are asking for. That and dvorcol's numbers. I've joined several gmk gb's where this has happened. You learn to recognize the signs after a couple times.

Bummer this one didn't make it, this was imo one of the best sets to run this year and I was looking forward to it lots. All I can think of is that maybe folks are tightening their budgets as we're getting close to holidays, or maybe running at the same time as Klassiker split the beige crowd? The relegendables were sooo dope too. Regardless, OP it should in no way reflect on the quality or awesomeness of this set, and I hope it runs again soon.
