Base will be made anyway (it will reach its MOQ and if not it will be very close). Tho i am not sure if all accents will be made. We'll get to know that after the drop ends.

The drop will end next day. So if you are interested or on the fence then this is probably the safest way to get GMK Eclipse by joining the drop now. As you can see the set will be produced in small numbers so there will be only few left others for the recap sale which minimizes the chance to get it afterwards.

Yeah i think numpad has also good chance. It might not reach the MOQ but its already so close that it has high chance to be made. Probably Orange accents too.

It all depends how the kits can be sold afterwards in the recap sale. The reselling potential should be considered in this regard. And this is quite tricky with custom colors because you cant combine it with existing sets so well. Btw, the pale blue accents are good to combine with SKIDATA imo.

MOQ/Pricing update

So 13 hours left and it looks very good imo. Looks like all the accent keys are probably getting made. Numpad made to MOQ and spacebars are looking good too. Pretty happy about the progress and i want to thank everyone who took and probably will take part in the drop in these last hours.

I ordered base + purple accents. The purple accents did not reach MOQ but Massdrop charged me for them anyway, so either they're being made or Massdrop is ripping me off...

Since you are charged right as a buy ends and we go over numbers afterwards - to decide what makes sense to produce and in what quantities - you will always end up being charged for what you ordered. If we decide to cancel any kit(s), we will reach out to everyone affected (i.e. everyone who has said kit(s) in their order) and give the option to be partially refunded for the cancelled kit(s) or to have their order cancelled entirely.

Just got new samples from GMK for the base modifiers color.
Here is comparison of the first sample (left) and the new one (right). (pardon for the dust....)

The new sample is 10% lighter. The old one appears too dark IMO and it has also slight green touch. Anyway RAL 5000 is a violet blue color with slight milky touch. The new sample hits it on the nail for me.

Here are all the eclipse samples together.

By the way Ryan (/u/quaddepo) designed Eclipse tray.

It has some color banding but it will be fixed for production.

It is this light blue (see the base color of alphas).

And still (IMO) even in this photo the light blue is not captured correctly.

Totality is approaching! My very biased opinion is that it looks good. I'm going to try pairing the Eclipse alphas with modifiers from Solarized Dark and see how that looks.
