Love what you're doing with this thread, specifically love seeing more about these fujistu leaf spring boards, I also heard that they are really nice linears but are a nightmare to convert, and expensive too if those converters on ebay actually work. I was actually looking into maybe buying one with the same switches and trying to convert it, but as I said it seems to be not worth the hassle (especially because it probably wont have qmk/vial)

I never tried to convert this one... But that's what I heard too... The switches are amazingly smooth, but as you said, I don't know if it worth it!

What a great thread! I had to chuckle, as the first two boards tested here had some of the most traditionally maligned switches in the Keeb Kingdom: Futaba MAs and Mitsumi Miniatures.
I've been lucky enough to find one previously-unused board with each, and I think they're great! So I think those two designs may have simply not been as long-lasting as most mechanical switches, and didn't require as much use to lose their appeal.
Has anyone else been able to try any new or lightly-used examples, and been more impressed than they thought they would?

agreed!! i love futaba ma clickies. they are very unique and i love the ping sound lol
