It is night, the wind blows through the leaves and howls in the distance, the air carries an unnatural chill. A small house sits among the trees, weathered by the centuries, unkempt as if nothing had lived there in years. Shattered windows draped in tattered cloth blowing in the wind. Inside, a black cauldron sits filled with a purple potion, papers strewn about on the floor. The room is dark, lit only by the moon light which enters through the windows and the glow of the potion colors the room a faint purple. The house is quiet, and tension fills the air.
The floor creaks and sways as the house closes in, darkness takes over. A faint murmur can be heard in the distance, growing ever closer. Soon they surround you, voices coming from all directions. Paralyzed, you watch as mist fills the air. In front of you a pair of eyes open up as the voices stop. Silence. It slowly smiles at you, a malicious grin made of purple flames dancing in the darkness. She has awakened. Slow footsteps can be heard from behind, something is coming but you can’t move, you can’t escape. You feel weak, your vision blurring as she gets closer, her presence draining you of energy.

Created a poll to see about possibly changing the alpha legend color to the same purple as mods/accents. Given I am on the fence I wanted to get feedback first rather than just making the decision on my own.

Well after just over a week, I got 111 responses to the form (great number btw) and 65.8% of people voted for purple legends. And after talking with a few friends about the set and what they thought, they also said purple looks better. And honestly it was a very
hard decision to make because I liked both options a lot, but I have come to a decision.
PURPLE ALPHA LEGENDS ARE A GO!!!
With that announcement made, OneCreativeMind and myself are trying to finish up the novelties and the deskmats to show off. Hopefully y'all love what we have come up with and are ready to support this set in a few months time (official date tba, but get
ready).
As well I have been working on updating the kits to be more of what I was wanting (more support).

1) Most likely not, it would require a lot of reworking of compatibility.
2) I will most likely do something similar to Night Runner but not set on what exactly yet.

Been quite a while since my last update, and for that I apologize. I have been focusing on getting some other projects out and this was being done in the background for quite some time.
Novelties are basically done and working on the deskmat designs now, will hopefully have more info soonish about those when everything is finalized.
And we now have a GB timeline of May, so keep a look out for more info in 2020 when everything is closer.

my understanding is that the keys listed in the r4c "row" are the ones that are convex. The "c" in r4c standing for "convex".
Yes, that makes sense. I’m wondering about the two blank 1.75u keycaps in the R4 row one up from the bottom. GMK now has convex tooling for 1.75 (also 1.25), but it is unclear if these two are dished or convex.

You should add a centered stem, alpha colored 6u spacebar to the spacebars kit.
1) Was purposeful, keeping it most likely (might change)
2) In the kit because I want it, true split backspace support (not-hhkb moved backspace "split backspace").
3) It is seldom used but most likely keeping it in. May change down the road, who knows.
4) I put this in because it is my preferred numpad layout but very rarely supported sadly.
5) Probably keeping it as is, I know it may not be full UK-ISO legend support but it is what it is.
6) I originally copied my Night Runner kits and didn't have 6u in them because I really didn't think it would be needed, but after having a topre board and running into that issue myself with a set, I will most likely add this in.

- The Caps Lock keys are using Shift icons. I'm assuming this isn't intended, but it should be fixed anyway (change to either ⇩ or ⇪).
- The R3 '@ key is unnecessary and can be removed. The ISO support would be useful (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=90706.msg2894820#msg2894820) for more people if it were R3 \|, R4 <> instead of R3 #~, R4 \|.
- Consider changing Num↲Lock to Num for consistency with Scroll, and also because it's currently the one two-line legend in the set.
- The second 1u Fn key can be removed as it isn't commonly used. Or maybe turn it into a generic key, e.g. Meta, to make it more useful.
- Same goes for the numpad 00 key, which is very rarely seen outside of standalone numpads (which this set doesn't have full support for anyway).
- At least one 6u spacebar (preferably alpha-colored, centered stem) should be added to the spacebars kit. Even better if both centered and off-centered stem are included, but I understand if that's too much to ask :)
- A 1.25u space should be added to the spacebars kit for Alice support and for standard split spacebar configurations (2.25–1.25–2.75, 2.75–1.25–2.25). Maybe even two of them, one in each color, to match the 2.25u, 2.75u choices that are already present.
- Two 2u spaces are a lot more common than two 1.75u spaces on 40s (Planck, Preonic, Boarwalk, Iris, Levinson...). In fact, only two boards (JD40/45) exist that use two 1.75u spaces, and they aren't even that common. I suggest changing the second one into a 2u space.

I'm still interested in getting it, i mean even if it's JTK. But maybe updates?
I would update if I had concrete answers to which path I am going as right now I still have no quote from either...I am not trying to hide info I am just as informed as y'all are.

It will not be ifk, I am just waiting just in case GMK decides to give a last second quote otherwise it will be JTK. Sorry just been busy and waiting on this quote was not fun in the least.

Lesgoooo! GMK IT IS! But like what i said, i'm buying either JTK or GMK or even IFK. This colorway is just too good to pass on, i'm copping deskmat too. <3
If this ends up being GMK i hope Ilumkb will be the vendor, they are usually cheaper compared to other vendors. LOL

Hi, I recommend going with JTK. I only care about the colorway anyway. Also this's been so long and people are starting to lose interest....

IMHO I don't think people are losing interest in this set tho. Good keycaps are worth the wait. Patience is a must in groupbuys, esp now production queues are long even with jtk. :D

Just wanted to let y'all know this keyset is NOT DEAD, and in fact is actually getting back on track to be a GMK set again!!!
More details to come in the future but they are being worked out right now so hold tight. Planning late Q1 or early Q2 2021 GB date so it will still be a little bit of a wait but it will 100% be worth the wait.

Yeah just waiting on renders right now before the next step is announced. As for a NorDe kit, unfortunately that won't be added sorry. :(

Thank you all for supporting this project along the way, I never imagined it would take this long but so many things went on behind the scenes that led to delays and changing manus a few times but that is over now.
